Yep, this is the worst Utd side for * decades. Fergie is * himself that they are running away with it, Man City's players should be ashamed of themselves as on paper they are by far the best English team, not to mention of course the most expensive and well-paid.

 

Welbeck - Bambi on ice

 

I swear, the majority of these "players" are on £100k+ a week and some of the shots that have been attempted are absolutely shocking.

 

Chelsea too. On paper City and Chelsea both have better players.

Fair play to Ferguson though hes kept them fairly solid and hardworking where as Chelsea and City havent turned up.

Man U have some great players in their team.

 

3 id say Vidic, Rooney and Van Persie, Chelsea have 4 Cech, Cole, Lampard and Mata, City have 5 Kompany, Toure, Silva, Tevez and Aguero.

 

The exact 3 I was thinking of. Man U may not have the best individuals in England but they're the best team.

 

Down to the manager I think, they rarely let their guard down. He always drums in fighting spirit, hard work and a winning mentality which means they scrape more results when playing poor.

Man City and Chelsea both seem to have weak managers who probably think having the best players is enough but sometimes their players go through the motions and they slip up too often.

 

Not the best game so far but this can happen in derby games.

 

Exactly, a great manager can make all the difference. Thats how fergie has taken weak Man U teams to champions league finals and league titles. Best manager in the world.

 

Nasri is another dud. I mind years ago, think it was the France v Scotland game, he came off the bench and the commentator said the French call him the next Zidane. Couldn't have been more wrong. The most over rated shower of * ever to grace a football pitch.

 

Aye hes too weak and inconsistant. So is Silva but Silva has more ability so can get away with it.

Both are made to look like Welbeck compared to Juan Mata though who is sheer class.

 

He was quite good last year. Can be an excellent player sometimes.

 

Agreed Nasri is a * donkey, every time I see him play hes just pure * and never tries a pun.

 

Maloney has played better than Nasri over the last 18 month.

 

Nasri is a great player. One of the most intelligent footballers in the premiership imo. His touch, vision and decision making are top notch. Particularly last season.

 

His lack of pace, work-rate, strength and unwillingness to demand the ball and take the game to the opposition all badly let him down though. He is too eager to be on the fringes and goes through the motions and he doesnt possess enough ability to do that.

 

Nasri played well last season. This season he looks like he couldnt care less.

Anyway, hopefully United pick up this half.

 

He is not a great player. He isn't even a good player.
