    The English press are rumouring today that Rooney could be leaving Man U, anyone think they may be making room for Bale?

    If they could get £30million for Rooney off Chelsea or City or a foreign team, they could put it towards Bale, they could probably get Bale for £35million + Valencia or Young.

    The sale of Rooney will definitely go some way in funding the signing of either Bale or Ronaldo.

    Fergie may feel that Welbeck is a ready made replacement for Rooney. He takes some slagging on here, but Welbeck played well over the two legs against Real Madrid.

    Would be a good signing but I dont see how he would fit in with Van Persie also there, if they were signing him then I imagine they would need to punt both Rooney and Hernandez(or Welbeck but Hernandez would probably raise more £$) to make room.

    Real I think would want ATLEAST £50million for him and no-one is going to pay that for a 28 year old.
