Huge win for utd, fergie got his tactics spot on and the team selection aswell was perfect. Rafa, rooney, rvp. giggs were great but id have gave MOTM to vidic, won everything he went for. Having him back this season has almost been as important for utd as signing RVP. As far as RM goes i reckon their still favourites, technically theyve got the edge over utd.

RM are favourites, fergies record agianst spanish sides isnt very impressive, particularly away from home. anyway, for me united always lowers their performance in europe by one point compared to our domestic game. My hope is RM hasnt been that good either so you never know.

Shame there's no Sturridge tonight, he's been good to watch recently.

Also, as Gary Neville pointed out, it forces Liverpool to change the way they have been playing lately.

Got a few scorecasts in Liverpools favour, and WBA draw no bet as a kind of insurance policy.

Liverpool dont look like scoring, if Sturridge was on they may be 2-0 or 3-0 up but with Suarez alone and half the time its him setting up the chances I cant see a goal.

Never know, they've done alright without Sturridge for this long - it's not like he's a world beater anyway. You're right that it makes it harder, as it always has done, when Suarez is the one trying to create a chance and the one playing up top who really should be the one on the end of them. Sturridge makes a big difference, but just him being on the pitch doesn't necessarily indicate they'd have a 2/3 goal lead. Bit of a disservice to WBA and the rest of the Liverpool team that.

They've been all over them though and got the ball into the box countless times but no-one has been in the middle to get on them.

True. Sturridge would make a difference, I don't doubt that.

Instead of wasting Borini out wide they should try him up top with Suarez, as you said ILTC the obvious lack of partner is hindering them cause Suarez has to do it all. Borini is capable of taking a chance, even if he's not settled as well as they'd hoped.

They've put him up top. Sterling out wide as well now, who I actually think is a useful wee player.

Liverpool 14 attempts West Brom 0 lol would be typical Liverpool if West Brom go up and score with their first attempt. Probably 16 attempts now with those two misses.

Crackin' save from Foster there, was hoping Gerrard would bust the net there he's my captain for tonight in the dream team :smiley-laughing002:

Borini should have took that with his left when he slid in, probably wouldn't have scored regardless right enough.
