He just got man of the match Don't think he was poor, but wasn't great either. Not motm performence. Although a missed the first 14 minutes, so maybe he was superb in that period lol.


Wigan a thought were quite impressive. Few good players there.

 

He did, he made the pass to Ivanovic and won the penalty neither of which was great play or anything. The pass he got the ball turned and Ivanovic was running through miles clear it was a simple pass and the winning of the penalty was a basic run in the box, like Sammy yesterday leg came out and tripped him.

Other than that I cant think of anything he done. The MOTM is only probably because the hand in both goals as no players played well I couldnt have picked a motm.

See the highlights of him there, about 4 highlights the pass, the penalty, 1 run past a player and a pass and another run past a player and he lost the ball.

 

No chance was Hazard MOTM, he was decent, nothing more, nothing less. The turn was good, but it was really poor defending. Was really impressed by Ivanovic today. Thought Wigan played quite well, were unlucky.

 

So apart from creating the two goals he did nothing. Fair enough.

 

2 nil flattered Chelsea .Wigan played very well and could have easily gotten something out the of the game .

Depends if you class it as creating goals, Ivanovic running at goal from 40+ yards out with the ball is never a certain goal, he could have missed and he won a penalty, looked a slight dive as he went before contact, Lampard could have missed that too

Its not like he ran in the box or down the wing and layed a chance on a plate.

I just thought he was quiet. A £35million winger/attacking midfielder I was expecting him to possibly be even better than Silva, Mata etc but hes had 2 quiet games.

 

I think once he gets comfortable with the team he will look better than Silva, Mata etc. I haven't seen loads of him at Lille but he does look pretty amazing and I don't think the comparisons with Messi are far off.

 

Hooiveld vs tevez and aguero, this could be interesting.

 

Moses was far more dangerous than him over the game . Hazard made two goals tho and is the new super star so lets make him motm.

If it had to be a Chelsea player it should been that * Terry he won everything in the air and on the deck all day long.

I actually found that funny, he was described on Sky Sports as fantastic and brilliant by them in the studio even though, like you said Moses, Maloney and even Oscar when he came on done more during the game.
