I'm told the initial fee for Ki if he signs for Swansea is £6.3m with £1.2m of add-ons dependent on appearances, with a 15% sell on fee.

Current bank debt. We also have £10.5million of deffered bank debt that doesnt become payable until I think 2016.

Following on from the news we brought you earlier of an agreed deal, Swansea City have confirmed they are discussing personal terms with Ki Sung-yueng after having an offer accepted by Celtic for the midfielder.

I just don't believe that we would reject £6m for him, for us only to reject less a month later. There is surely add ons and maybe a sell on %.

I saw on twitter that it was closer to £6m with add ons possibly taking it up to near £8m, but I don't believe that

£5 million for a bench warmer who was a lightweight and only had a handful of good games. Happy with that.

Hope things stall up. After reading Lennon's comments, I'd much rather we were left with Ki instead of money to cover a nearly inexistent debt. Since no reinvestment is planned.

Debts need to be serviced simple as and if it means getting over 6 million of that cleared by Selling Ki im quite happy with that.

Was disgusted with 5m figure, but this deal would be far more reasonable. I was thinking there would have to be a sell-on clause since we were getting sort of a low end fee up front.

That's closer to what I've been reading, as well, which is solid business.

People on here going cracker jack over nothing. :56: He's not even a starter for us, for goodness sake! About as valuable as Paddy McCourt in the big scheme of things. He'll not be missed that much.

Hopefully the board invests at least a little of it on the squad.

7.5 in total plus 15% of future fee which will be over 10 mill? Yes please.

Still hoping Atletico come in at the last minute and make Swansea raise their price though lol

Would be a very good deal, getting these sell on percentages are great business.

Only gripe I have with this deal would be that there would've been greater re-sale potential if he'd moved to somewhere further abroad, such as Russia.

Really? One decent season down in England and clubs are bidding 20 million for you. Albeit this phenomenon applies more to English players.

can't see any solid evidence that it was £6m. all Lennon has said is that the deal is 'good business'.

hopefully the deal of £6.3m plus £1.2m add-ons with a 15% sell-on clause is true. realistically, it will be somewhere between the two.

£6m-£7.5m for a 5th choice midfielder who's contract is up at the end of next season is good for us. really hope Lawwell did what he does best. £2m fro Hooiveld makes me think it was closer to £7.5m.

as for Lennon saying he is unsure if he'll get any cash from the sale, that'd be a fecking disgrace. we all know some, probably the vast majority, of it will need to be banked. for Lennon not to see a penny would be a travesty.

Tbh i'm not that bothered to see him go,never saw the best of him here and doubt we ever would have really.
Will fit in down at Swansea brilliantly with the amount of time and space you get in the epl and the way Swansea play it'll be Joe who? after a few weeks.
Good luck to you tho Ki:50:
Also i have a feeling that a couple of players have been earmarked after we qualify to the group stages..well i hope so:icon_mrgreen:
