    The fact that Celtic made that video with him, makes me think it would take a special offer of around 10 million to get him in. They would hardly make a video like that if they were hoping to offload him.

    Possibly. If we do qualify for the champions league then with the additional revenue we will bring in we would be able to more than wipe out our entire debt so I doubt Lennon would be keen on letting him go. I presume he would only ssell him in order to raise money for transfer but surely with the group stage money we would be able to buy without selling.

    See if we aren't going to sell him this summer or January, then imo he should be offered a new deal. He's got what? 18 months on his contract and will not be able to command any major fee with a year left on his current deal. So even an extension of 2-3 years would do. If not, and he is considering his future, or Lennon is, then sell this season.

    i dont get why everyone think he is leaving other than crappy paper talk, ki has already came out and said he has had no contact with anyone and the qpr link was wrong and was for park which ki correctly predicted. if he goes then fair enough but id rather he didnt and atm the moment everything points to him staying.

    +1, his passing is extremely economical and he would play an integral part of a 5 man midfield, if we use that formation again.

    The Video has been put back up now, the rumours have been rubbished of him leaving in Korea. Theceltic.kr site is back too.

    This time has no translation, but from what I remember (one of our good korean members may translate?) He states how much he enjoyed winning the league, how every goal he scores makes him so proud, hows it more than a football club to him, its been a home as well as a school and finally, how he is looking forward to winning more in the future.

    that is the site. It seems to have a fair bit of colabaration with the official Celtic site, which suggests he is going no where. Really, really good to see this.

    The other lad does not hold the fan base Ki does, basically because he plays in the J league.

    He might be good, but commerically, he is no where near Ki. He moved from Korea to Japan, which makes Koreans feel a bit betrayed. Plus the Japanese will never take to him.

    He might be good, but not commerically successful.

    * - You post the Malaysian star as a worth while article and then make such a scathing comment.

    The Malaysian Star is probably one of the biggest laughing stocks of a paper known to man. I highly doubt they would post anything other than something positive to boost the appeal of QPR in Malaysia since Tony Fernandes owns them.

    You also completely ignored the completely legitimate Video he has recently shot for the Korean Celtic fansite in whcih he speaks of his love for the club.
