I would grab at 7 million or above. However I would accept 6 million plus a good sell on clause. He is one of those players who could either never get much better or could become world class.

Wanyama is different. I think he really does look like he could play at the very highest level very soon. I would be looking for huge money for him or maybe 8 million and a sell on clause.

Military service is past for him, footballers (pro) and the like can be excused from it.

He'd be a great player, in a slower paced league.

We've done him a favour, by adding graft & tackling to his game.

He's a more rounded central midfielder now & is easily worth £6m+ to a good team in a better league.

Doesn't really fit in for the SPL & is too good a player to have hanging around waiting for European nights. Best thing all round for him to leave in this window.

Good player though & seems a good guy to have around the Club.

these Russian teams have mass fortunes. bleed them dry. if we've rejected £6m, which i don't believe as it's not been reported by a credible source (ie SkySports and/or BBC), push for £8m.

think it's a sign of depth of quality in midfield when a guy who is 5th choice there is being touted for £6m.

Don't talk about things you don't know about.

Ki is yet to be exempt from the military.

Why say that when you have no idea what you're talking about ? Ki is yet to serve his military service.

Keep him. We need to replace him if we sell. The long range of passing is a major asset.

would we? centre mid is probably the only area of our squad where i think if one player is sold, they wont need to be replaced.

if Ki is sold we'll still have Ledley, Kayal, Wanyama, Brown and McCourt who can play there. i think McCourt should be sold and even if he and Ki's future is elsewhere, we still won't need to bring anyone else in.

We don't miss him when he is injured or on the bench. I just feel he is disposable and certainly not worth the money being touted for him.

    Never mind! :102:
Anyway, Ki - definitely sell him for £8m plus a sell-on clause. I think he'd be a great player in a different type of league. I do think we'd need a replacement though, as he gives us that different option at central midfield. I'd go for someone like Markus Henriksen, who should cost (probably less than) half of what we'd be making from selling Ki.

There is no better time to sell than now. Although he didnt have the best season (beyond October) his stats are deceiving. 40 appearances, 7 goals and about 7 assists (guess) On paper that looks great. International experience and now european experience. He wont get anywhere near as much game time next year and his value will inevitably go down.

As much as i hate good celtic players leaving, this is the right time. Haggle a bit more and release. We'll need the money to pay the wages to stop our irreplaceable players heads from turning e.g Forrest, Hooper, Izzy.
