    how many times do you think we will give up four sloppy goals like that when games count? its preseason ffs , i can honestly say im a bit concerned but you wont see performances like that when the season kicks off

    Just to look at this in perspective.

    Maybe Ajax are in a more advanced position and are further along their pre-season schedule than us and this is our first real test in our pre-season.

    This IS OUR FIRST real test isnt it

    I am still concerned about our team. Yes the league is a given.

    I know this sounds defeatist....but you know how you can listen to a band that are really big.....in my case Oasis, and think, "what a load of pish" and from that moment on they can do no good ?

    I have to admit that I am in that boat when it comes to Lennon.

    I just don't see what the fuss is about.

    It would have been interesting to see where the league title went if Wattie had remained at the Piggery. Though I would be concerned it may not be here.

    There is no substitute for experience !!!!!!!!

    just not feeling excited about team just now, teams usually bring in 1or two new faces to give everybody a lift and lennon has really disapointed me by not getting the players in at a crucial point before these tough games as i feel rogne as our first choice defender is a disaster waiting to happen and missing a creative player and a target man

    I think you will agree that Guardiola would be the exception to the rule. What about AVB ? This guy could do no wrong at 33 years old........until Chelsea.

    We have had Kenny here in the past with Barnes. I agree, we are better off with Lennon than Dalglish, though Guardiola would definitely be my preference !!!!!!!!!!!

    A club of this stature puts too many demands on newcomers (same with Aunt Sally over the road)
