I dont watch much wrestling anymore, but i would certainly tune in to see Goldberg fight again.
Then again i was watching wrestling when the WWF/WCW feud was in full flow.

That's my point though, it seems as though Goldberg still thinks it's 2001 and he's a big name who commands top dollar, which really isn't true.

Most of the fans who invest in the product today won't know who he is. They'll see him as an old, less physically impressive Ryback.

never liked goldberg back in the WCW he was pushed to the moon and he wasnt even any good. he had a good enterence and an impressive spear but he was all hype.

it was down to people like goldberg having creative control of thier characters and huge salaries that * over the WCW

might give gilberg some bookings though lol

But he is worth top dollar, much like The Rock, Undertaker, Steve Austin ect.

Goldberg is the biggest name WCW ever made, he was even still huge when he came to the WWE, and was still a huge name when he left. WWE do it every year where they bring a few 90s early 00s guys back for the older audience. Plenty of people will pay to see Goldberg, and if he comes back he will be one of the top paid guys for his last run.

Whether I agree with them doing that or not is another thing. But he is definitely worth it.

Goldberg vs Stone Cold would be something many would pay to see, no doubt.

If Vince could get him back for 1 or 2 matches i am sure he would pay over the odds, if at Wrestlmania they had a Goldberg match they would more than make up what they where paying him in buy rates, im sure.

Would be interesting to see what sort of shape he is in these days.

Depends how you look at it really, he came through smaller companies then to NWA then WCW.

Goldberg is the only big star to come through the WCW power-plant.

Cena asked the store assistant for something and she said "sorry Sir that we don't sell" to which he replied "That's ok I say the same thing about my opponents moves"
