    Agreed. Thommo is a Tim and will always be a Tim, regardless of whether or not he works here. He's been a valuable asset to the club as both a player and a coach and I've no doubt the club will do everything they possibly can to help him, even if it's not feasible to have him working here any more. Also from what I've read, and I'm aware it may not be particularly reliable, he doesn't seem to want to acknowledge he has a problem, which makes it all the more difficult for the club to help him.

    Sorry but thats not true, Cancer and Diabetes (im type 1 btw) are nothing like alcoholism as alcoholism and some types of cancer are curable but i have Diabetes for life so i find this quite insulting but im not trolling i just want to point this out.

    Keep rumours like this away from the forum as has been stated before,its ok speculating about personal problems but this goes way to far and is not the gossip i wont to read about ,he has enuf problems to deal with

    I've seen Kennedy & Frail linked to the job, and BBC Sport was saying Clarke again as well today. I imagine Kennedy would be a nice step up, but it may be better to bring in someone with more experience!

    Sad to see Thompson go. That last rumour posted is a f*ckin joke, should be removed from the forum. Hopefully Lenny seizes this chance to get someone with experience in to work alongside him. John Kennedy is too young imo. I was going to say Willie McStay but noticed he has took up a roll at Bristol City.
