Very poor performance from Celtic IMHO. Up until the 1st goal it looked promising, but after that it went downhill. OK, I know it was a friendly and almost a 2nd 11, but - particularly in the 2nd half - I didn't see anywhere near enough pride in wearing the hoops. Men against Bhoys, indeed

You can tell our support left yet another fantastic impression last night, the noise created by our support for a friendly was outstanding. Makes you dead proud to be a Celtic supporter.

Sounds like the supporters mixed and had a great time before and after as well, from what I've read here and from what my mates that went have told me. Norwich supporters are real friendly and I'm sure a lot of them learned that there's only one side of the 'Old Firm' to be weary of.

Best support in the UK by a distance, in my opinion.

Well done to everyone that made last night special and good luck to Norwich for next season.

I never got to see much of the game but it was a friendly....it was a team full of boys and to be honest the result doesn't bother me in the slightest....if anything I'm glad Norwich won.....makes the evening more special for the Adam Drury that his team won.

I know what you mean Marie, but I could tell Lenny wasn't too happy with the performance either. Sure, I don't mind at all that Norwich won, but even if it happened to be a team full of boys, one of the things I'd expect in a (meaningless) friendly is to provide some entertainment. It was the Celtic fans who provided that, but I didn't see enough on the park. For example, have you ever seen a game when Paddy Mc played, but never made even 1 single mazzy run?

Yeah I know what you mean and I did seen that Lenny looked frustrated with the players at times, a testimonial should be about entertainment as there is nothing to lose but a bit of pride.....agree with what you say....the fans were the entertainment and the talking point of the game.....took the spotlight off the performance of the team I suppose.....which is maybe a good thing :56:

Haha nope....he always makes at least one crazy assed run so that was a bit disappointing.

Norwich supporter here - great day yesterday!

What made it better for me was that some of my relatives were over from Ireland and we all went to the game - * sore heads this morning!

Hopefully in the future we can come to your place for a friendly - I think a lot of Norwich have now got a soft spot for you all.

    Cheers

I thought, as did Lennon, Celtic were excellent given the circumstances. For 70 minutes anyway until we were a proper under 19 side.

Lennon was very happy with his players, the frustration on the sidelines is just him and who he is. You'll never see him 100% content with things, the same way he was when he played.

PS As an Irish man im gutted Wes Hoolahan is not in the Euros squad, cracking player.

Strangely enough, I'm also a grumpy bassa and a fitba (youth) coach. I'm usually very positive on the sidelines with my (Under 18's) team, but, then again, maybe my face does actually give me away and I'm not aware of it (I don't usually bring a mirror or see myself later on camera).

Maybe I set my standards too high and expect the best from both my boys team and Celtic, but I don't think that's a bad thing.

Lots of positives from last night. McGeough was very good in a position he has probably never played before, Watt was unlucky not to get a goal and Ibrahim is a wee livewire always wanting the ball and trying to make things happen. Young Findlay (is he 12? :56:) put his more experienced partner to shame on a few occasions.

Blackman is a flying machine!!!! Pity he doesn't have much else :56:

The future is bright with these young guys breaking through, here's hoping they continue to progress as they have been.

And now on to the star of the show, the Celtic support. Once again we proved why we are the greatest fans in the world. non stop singing from start to finish, party atmosphere and all the post match chat was about us. From Lambert, to Drury, Lenny, Big Hartson... to a man all of them were blown away and rightly so.

My only problem with the support is that I can't stop whistling * Achy Breaky Heart this morning :47:

Hi all - Norwich fan here.

Wow, what a support you guys have. I've never seen away support like that at Carrow Road ever.. Incredible. You're a massive credit to your club.

I've had a BIG soft spot for Celtic ever since Paul Lambert came here. I even bought a shirt last season. I'm pleased to say that soft spot has now turned into full on fandom.

I'd love to see it become a regular friendly. Perhaps alternate year on year home and away.

Thanks for helping make Adam Drurys night so spectacular.

    Much love,
    Andy :50:

It was a testimonial so I didn't expect celtic to win if I'm honest I'd maybe like to see a couple of wins During the pre season but they're only friendlies so it's not really competitive.

Morning all - Canary fan back again following last night's party...

Sore head this morning, but massive smile on my face thanks to you lot and Adam Drury. Hope you enjoyed your time down here, you're welcome back anytime, it was a real pleasure to see such brilliant good-natured support.

Really hope we can repay the favour sometime soon. I'd love to witness the passion in full blast at Parkhead. Would love to visit and watch a SPL game next season also.

Never had a second team, but Celtic have captured my heart after last night. :shamrock:

He's 16 and he played well but Kelvin Wilson was our best player on the field last night.
