    Not only that, but after hearing us belt out "let's all do the HUDDLE" for a couple mins, during which time he was silent, all the Canaries got going and then later we did it again and he said "Norwich all doing the poznan - and now Celtic are doing it too"

    I know it was only a friendly but tbh I felt like ripping my top off in hulk-esque fashion, opening my living room window and shouting "DFWAJVASKJHFBASHVFASHJVFJHASVFSAHJVDSabgdsjhabvckjhhjbs djhvb chb kjhbvaHKAJHSVCSJDHVJHSDVBCJHSDAJHCVBSDHKJBVDS FOR * SAKE!!!!!!"

    Luckily, I restrained and saved myself a trip to TimLand for another shirt.

    Aye, noticed Norwich's official twitter account announced it as the Poznan and then later tweeted "sorry it's the HUDDLE not the poznan, apologies". :icon_mrgreen:

    It's great to see the fans get on with an English club, puts to shame the suggestion that we as a support are anti-English. Anti-imperialism yes but that's about way more than just England.

    The English in many parts of the country want to distance themselves from London/Whitehall just as the Scots do.

    I'm not going into history here, and I'm not going to say the word 'Irish' either, because that's far deeper than I ever intend to go.

    But I will say that not many English people can profess pride in the Union Jack, now that it has been hijacked by the bigoted.

    And speaking personally, Rangers FC are included in that, along with the BNP, and even the Conservative party to a degree.

    I don't know how many English people agree with me when I say that dissolving the union and becoming 'Scotland', 'England', and 'Wales' again would do a lot for our sense of identity and for our relations.

    I left the 'fourth member' out intentionally, because I don't want to get into that - although my views wouldn't be seen negatively on a Celtic forum, for the avoidance of doubt.

    And for the record, I'm from England originally and have no problems with anyone except Huns, when I chastise them for wearing Chelski tops.
    Most English people would change their opinion on Celtic if they were ever given "the whole truth", sadly all they see from the media is "the old firm" and believe we come as a bigot package which, as you now know is total bollocks :50:

    I've always known that, but I suspect a fair few Norwich fans have been educated today.

    I also suspect that we also have some complete thickos who just like to hate too, no escaping them, every club gets lumbered with at least a few. Thankfully we seem to have a lot less than most clubs.

    Best half day off work ever. Spent the day with Celtic fans - you guys are class, pure class. Left the house wearing Norwich shirt and scarf - come home wearing Celtic shirt and scarf. See #celticnorwichfamily was trending on Twitter, and tonight added one more thing to the bucket list - a trip to your place. Don't know what the feeling is with you guys, but would love to see you in Premiership.
