The thing about yesterday was, he never lost the head once. Even with folk treating him as if he was a mental patient.

He was cool and composed, the kick out at Aguero was done for a reaction as was the feigned head * on Kompany. He has admitted QPR were down to 10 and he wanted to take a City player with him.

He's a silly boy but folk calling for assault charges and saying he'll never play again are well wide of the mark.

Look at his face when he kicked Aguero, clearly he lost the head and then the carry on going off the pitch which in fairness wasn't just him.

    He's a *.

I'd almost buy the fact he's just an "aggressive" wind up merchant bad boy kind of footballer if he hadn't already had a history of violence OFF the football pitch (cigars in one kids face, battered another teenager in Thailand, got banned from City for assaulting a team mate, spent time in jail for assault); so its unsurprising why he's so reviled.

Yes he has a point about Shearer being a hypocrite but he's just a gobby little thug with an ego that dwarfs his fairly limited football ability

Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

    In what respect?

Tevez kicked him and he swung an elbow, he was already red carded by that point. One of his team mates told him to take a City player with him so he lashed out at Aguero in the hope he would take a hit back and even the score.

That isn't someone that has 'lost the head' that is someone that is cool and calculated and knows exactly what they are doing.

Thug. And people are defending him over the incident with Tevez? Now before I state my opinion, I may be wrong, the angle I seen it isn't the best, but from what I gathered, Tevez made a run, and Barton was tracking it, making it difficult for Tevez. Tevez couldn't run past cleanly, so clawed at Barton, with limbs all over Barton. Now, I know Tevez is wrong to do this, but it happens in football all the time. People give x-rated insults, stand on people's toes and all the rest, but you do not react with an elbow. Someone earning tens of thousands of pounds to do his job should know this, and keep the head. He's an idiot. And the fact he kicked out at an innocent Sergio Aguero and jerked his head towards Kompany shows such a lack of class.

A guy who stubs out cigars in youth players' eyes, runs over a pedestrian after an argument and hospitalises a teammate in a training ground bust up does not get any sympathy from me. He's right up there with El Hadji Diouf for me. Scumbag.

Barton is a *. What he done to Aguero was a disgrace then the attempted headbutt on Kompany. Shearer is also a * though.

QPR didn't go down but arguably Barton's sending off won City the league, if it wasn't for the fall out from that there wouldn't have been 5 minutes of stoppage time and City wouldn't have had the time to get their 2nd.

As for Barton, I wouldn't have him anywhere near here but for comedy value I like him being in the game. On twitter he is hilarious even if 90% of the time it is unintentional.

Having a dig at Gary Lineker now.

Shame he never smashed Tevez harder both * .

Bartons a horrible little scumbag, he'll never change.

If this * didn't know how to kick a ball he would be in jail on a more permanent basis.
