Seems to be some sort of cult hero with some people which is ridiculous, the guy is an idiot and his actions yesterday didn't belong on a football park.

I think Barton is a good player, with a temper. His actions yesterday were wrong but I don't think he's a bad guy. He's not got a patch on some of the racists in the game anyway. He's very easily frustrated and acts in anger, I'm sure he'll be disappointed.

He done nothing except retaliate to a Kick from Tevez, Tevez obviously had an idea to get him sent off, Kick him get him rilled up wait for a reaction and dive to teh floor like hes been shot once he gets touched.

If one of our players got sent off by the opposition cheating like that he may aswell go off and take one of the opposition with him.

For purely footballing reasons, I'd happily have Joey Barton. I don't want us signing him because of his antics though, more trouble than he is worth.

 

Remember we were after Barton a good few years back, imagine him and Neil Lennon in centre mid together? good lord.

Even him and Broony would be an intimidating midfield.

I don't have much of a problem with him, even yesterday the only thing he was guilty of was the kick on Aguerro and the "headbutt" if you can even call it that, Tevez baited for a reaction and * got one.

 

yeah I dont mean sign just cause he is a bit of a nutter ha. I think he is a cracking player, but imagine the treatment this lad would get up here off the gutter hun press.

 

I know, he'd be a good signing playing wise but I think the cons outweigh the pros with regards to him.

 

I've just watched it again and Barton watches Tevez to block off his run, Tevez has his arms and legs all over the place but to me it looks like he's trying to get him out the way more than anything, not attempting to kick him.

Barton gives an elbow, kick and attempts a head *, he's a * clown and should be nowhere near the EPL.

 

I'm with Barton on this one. I just watched it again and the initial incident I couldn't see any contact at all so if you are a dirty, cheating, diving coward then you deserve a punch to the belly. Needing to cheat to get the league. That sounds familiar. Tevez is a cheating *.

 

I have defended him on numerous occasion, as he has the ability but you cant defend what he done yesterday. The Tevez incident wasnt a clear red imo, Tevez made the most of it and also had a few bites at Barton, but the rest was a joke. He even said he didn't lose the head, really? and also a fellow team mate said to take one of them aswell, meaning do them. Silly silly boy who will be lucky to play in the premiership again.

 

* did he go for aguero for? aguero was just standing there minding his own business then he tried to stick the nut on kompany fs he wouldve knocked barton out.

 

Arguably Barton's sending off cost QPR their EPL place...it's a massive price to pay for a moments rush of blood tae the heid!
I sympathise with his team mates who put in a great shift yesterday,it was looking like they had done enough to survive and then BING,BONG,BANG!

 

They didnt get relegated Bolton did.

 

The thing with Barton is, I don't support the team he plays for or any team he's likely to be playing. I just want to be entertained while watching other football matches and players like Barton entertain me, even if it isn't always for football reasons. Same goes for other players as well.

No wonder these days footballers are seen as overpaid jessies. Now if he tried to injure Tevez's leg then you'd have a point but he didn't so I'm sure Tevez will get over it.
