I highly, highly doubt that. The vast majority of the team aren't Celtic fans and will only find out about fan actions through stuff like twitter, and considering the amount of mail they get they probably miss or ignore most of the stuff.

As much as I would be disgusted if a newco got into the SPL, I dont think protests aganist this is something celtic fans should be leading. To me it just looks like fans kicking their biggest opponents when they are down (and to me that isnt what it is about).

What would be immense would be if there was a coordinated effort amongst all SPL fans at the same time one weekend. May be ambitious, but I think on this issue it is more important that the voices of the other fans in the SPL are heard.

I like the idea of all spl clubs doing it, that would be immense.

mixed feelings about this though, I think it would look good, and take a few people by surprise, just not sure anyone would really give a *.

Rangers should be punished but some fans should be careful what they wish for.

An SPL without any Old Firm games is pretty meaningless in my opinion.

Lets face it all the games against the dross of the SPL is turgid, predicatable & boring.

Thats why there's over 20/25,000 empty seats every home game. (No matter what fictious number they come up with games)

The thought of that for a number of years without the 4 guaranteed games against Rangers to pump doesn't excite me.

I would expect Season Ticket numbers & general income to decrease year on year if we were a one man band in the SPL with the league won by Xmas.

I don't think it's about kicking your biggest rivals when they are down (although I would happily stick the boot into that scum all day), it's about sporting integrity and doing what's right for the image of the game up here.

How are you going to feel if the huns get away with their cheating relatively scot free and then our bank starts getting jittery and wants to call our debt in early and reduce our overdraft in future because what's to stop us doing the same thing that the huns did?

Or smaller clubs getting no line of credit at all from the banks for the same reason?

It might not seem like much but I am sure it will be accompanied by a huge banner outlining exactly what is going on and it will only be for a short period anyway.

The arrogance of the huns today especially (Jardine, the cardigan etc..) is astounding. We have to show them we wont just stand back and let them do whatever the * they please.

This is the dumbest idea I've ever heard, nobody will give a * about it let alone change their minds on a newco because of it.

I find it astonishing the amount of folk on here who don't seem to give a * about highlighting the wrongdoing and subsequent arrogance of the huns.

It's about making a statement. For the whole ground to go silent and turn their backs, no doubt with a banner unfurled to explain why we are doing what we are doing will help to send a message to the SFA, the SPL and the rest of the clubs in Scotland that it is time we stopped letting these * walk all over us with their cheating ways and superiority complex.

It will be a * minute or so folks, just do it and get behind your fellow fans trying to make a statement.

When did we become so fractured as a support?

    Hear hear.

The amount of Celtic fans who are happy enough to (hypothetically) just let the huns waltze straight back into the SPL despite running up millions of pounds of debt, cheating the tax payer, and every other team in the league, is just madness.

Tell this shower to sling their hook, and get them booted down the divisions with no history and have them slumming it away to the likes of Elgin & Forfar next season.

Absolutely pathetic if you can't give one minute of your time, if that, to what could be a very strong statement.

Don't know why anyone wouldn't participate in this? (anything to get it up them *)

Think this could be brilliant if done correctly.
Get the message spread on Facebook, Twitter etc and get the texts going round.

    HH!!

Of all the things the GB have came up with, this is comfortably the worst.

I'll be watching the game on the 15th minute, I can voice or display my disgust when my team are not playing the huns in front of me.

I agree on the whole, however, it seems to have been concocted with no rhyme or reason.

A banner would be a more emotive way of displaying a message. All in my opinion of course, I'm becoming an old *!

Of what I was reading earlier, I'm sure that one of their high heid yins confirmed that there was going to be a banner/display accompanying their protest.

Suppose we'll just need to wait and see how it all pans out.
