    No. I have agreed we have under-achieved in the past. As have Barcelona. As have Man Utd. Every team does. The fact you are picking out we parts, distorting and spinning what I have said sums up you have no argument left to put across. I had already stated earlier in the thread that we had under-achieved in recent years - show me when I have ever denied that please.

    I've never felt Celtic to be underachieving club, actually more or less the opposite.

    Right so you agree we under achived in the last 4 years, and u agree that we under achieved in the 9 in a row years.:56:How bout the mid 80s when we only won 1 from 5? was that under achieving? Gosh the years are adding up here. If we cannot beat killie and hearts , if we canne take care of a ranjurs team on its knees, if we canne play in europe without humilating ourselves thats under achieving.     If you celebrate the fact we have got into the champions league last 16 twice is really poor argument. the achievements of that are far out weighted by the dismal defeats to the hands of lesser teams - which is far closer the norm. Basle, Sion, utrecht cska, rapid sien , tel aviv ... . The point wasnt even a european one obviously we had great years in 60's people really out play it we get the recognition we deserve for it i know we are restricted by scottish football which is fair enough but i seriously believe we need european progression and everyone in the club agrees. Neil lennon in his heart will un assuradley realise that he has underachieved to date. we were fancied for two trebles in the last 2 years, rangers we in utter turmoil. Fair enough anyone can loose a cup tie on their day but to loose two in weeks is under achievement we should have at least picked upwards of three trophies in the last two years

    Clubs of the calibre of Rosenberg & apoel have shown us up to be underachievers.our resources compared to other teams in Scotland should result in many more honours..worst animal team for last few years and we re lucky to be getting 1 trophy highlights the underachievement...always fearful of a hiding in Europe and this situation needs to be addressed

    I would say the 1 area where clearly we have underachieved in recent years has been away from home in Europe. Our away record in recent years is pretty embarrassing by anyone's standards. It's true that some of our defeats have been away to the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan and Manchester Utd but there have also been atrocious performances against the likes of Aalborg, Anderlecht, Rosenborg, Utrecht and Sion.

    That is an area we need to start doing better in.

    No excuse but to win around two thirds of all domestic trophies therefore 10 out of 15. 5 League titles in a row being the absolute minimum. Post christmas european appearances in at least two of the five seasons . A credible european away record in which gives us respect that our traveling support deserve.

    Dont think thats an overall big ask.

    No it isn’t and I’m horrified to hear such a thing!

    These people pay inordinate amounts of hard earned cash to follow their team all over Europe.

    The least they should expect – and the least they deserve – is a result every now and again.
