    I have been led to believe Russell will be a Celtic player by tomorrow if Thompson accepts the package on the table from Celtic.

    He hasn't spoken to us though and no medical has been arranged as there is an asking price to be met, hence the reason United have went public tonight with his value.

    Again a rumour but make from it what you will.

    He will be important for us in Europe, with his shutting down of the opposition, hes the best at it in Scotland(from an attacking player). Also his pace will be a good asset for Europe too and his ability to carry and hold a ball. Could compete for the positions of Sammy, Commons and Forrest.
