the only way Ki will be as popular as Joe is if he plays a hollywood pass for an assist and gets a goal from 30 yards every match :56:

Ledley is a workhorse, people respond well to that in Scotland

    Indeed - as do I.

A meaty tackle is almost as good as a goal in my eyes.

That said, if he is able to commit himself a bit more to his defensive duties, as well as his offensive - then my opinion of him may be more positive in the future.

Well we had 5 in midfield that Motherwell game and 3 centre backs so thats not the best example as we were unlikely to be overly troubled in the centre.

My thoughts also. Other players suffer when the have to cover for kis defensive shortfalls. Ki leaves all the hard work to others around him. To make up for that u have to be a world class act which ki is definetly not.

A goal against das Hun, or even the winner against them (if they are still in existence) would certainly change Ki's status at Celtic.

tbh, i guess hard work is appraciated all over, just look at the reception Gaizka Toquera gets at Athletic Bilbao, he is as hard a worker as youll find and they love him, if Ki worked harder, then yeah, people would tak to him more

    Unquestionably!

Here's hoping Kayal coming back into the fray is better all round for our team - but I honestly fail to think he far up the pecking order Ki will be in midfield?

Ki can dish out a meaty tackle, he does that often. It's the lack of defensive position and the lack of work rate to at least try and cover for the defensive positioning that does my nut in.

Everything else I'm happy with though. He needs this added to his game.

Its hard to tell where in the Pecking order he'll be, or where he even is,we rarely have our 5 CM's fit, and even if we do theres always space for atleast 3 in the team, with Brown playing at RM sometimes, or Ledley playing LM/LB or Wanyama CB, but, i think with everyone fit, Ki will be 4th or 5th, and....for a player of that quality to be there.....shows we have serious strngth in that position

I believe he hasn't been taught to position himself properly, back in Korea. Must've had a butcher to do the dirty work for him. It may take a lot of time for that to be fixed. But in the mean time, I'm happy with his offensive game.

Ki is a one of a kind player.. I cant come up with a single player in the world that is compareable with Ki. He has good passing and his long shots are fkin deadly. But i just think that his work-rate and tackling isnt good enough, but he is young and this could improve

    :97: ??? Are u actually being serious mate i cant tell ?

Jody morris is a better player than ki. His shots are not * deadly :56: his passing is average.

Are u actually at the wind up :56:?

Can't tell if serious and if you are then i don't think any response i make to that comparison will even begin to impact how stupid i think that statement is.

There is a reason morris plays for st.johnstone and ki plays for celtic.

:56: i think youre on the windup

if Ki's passing is average then we dont have anyone whos passing is better than average :56:

and dont even say commons or mulgrew, Commons passing is inconsistant, and Mulgrew is more of a crosser than a passer

Dont even say commons and mulgrew? Because they are but ki might see my comment. Commons can pass a crackin ball and he does it often he can pil out a pass and weight it nicely an has done the last few games. Some people wanto crawl out ki's * man. He isnt all he was cracked up to be an people wont accept it incase they hurt his feelings it seems.

And aye jody * morris :56: id honestly rather see him in our starting lineup than ki. Ki contributes SFA to the side an leaves the midfielder work to whoever he has to play alongside him. He throws the team off balance and we suffer.

So fed up with this thread every couple of days its back to square one. I hope ki moves on and does well elsewhere.

commons also goes spells were his passing is poor, its so inconsistant, atleast Ki's passing is consistantly accurate, you can say what you want about Ki,but his passing is not average

Accurate due to the fact his passes go from left to right and about 10 yards. Anybody on this forum could strip up and make the passes he does why do people on here think he s sensational ? Ive mever met a person face to face that would say ki is a good enough for celtic
