That game was influenced by cards, and the wrong set-up. We didn't push them away from our goal.

You know what, what it comes down to is how effective he can be for us, and I think we'd have our doubts even if he was played in a free role, such as the one Commons was assigned at the weekend. He's a tidy player, but not good enough to break into our first team, and unlikely to improve any further, so why not sell?

we were down to 10 men, then 9, that was hardly ki's fault, if you want to talk about old firm games how about the cup game last year at ibrox where he bossed the game

That's a bit redundant don't you think? Considering how well he has played this season?

Ki hasn't even come close to the Captains level of performance.

You don't play football Im guessing here .

I think Ki is maybe a hero of yours or at least your a big fan of his ,You don't want him to go down this road that he has to go in to hard tackles and maybe hurt himself or someone else .

You also mentioned he may receive more cards ,for tackling yes he will if he does it wrong but again it happens ,and also one day Ki might be one of those players who goes in to a 50/50 tackle and decides at the very last second to pull out and Ki will end up with a bad one .

He is a Midfielder ,he is expected to tackle as Midfielders do a lot of defending and are the engine room of any team ,I would not be saying this about Ki if he played Centre Forward as they are not really tacklers anyway of the ball so if Ki is to play the game at a decent level he must either become ,someone who is not scared to put his foot in or become a Centre Forward ,and that he won't be.

What? For someone whose game is not based on their physical prowess, I'd say he's exactly the sort of player who will improve.

Am I alone in thinking the whole tackling issue has been way over blown?

No no ,Its in the manner that Naka fan puts it across that has thrown me ,"Scared" is not a word you associate with Players in Football is it ,and then "He might get more Cards for Tackling" .

He is a flair player but he is also a Midfielder and he should never be shirking out of any tackles .

If it were just tackling I would agree with you that it has been overblown but Ki lacks any kind of defensive awareness/ability to track players from midfield. If he couldn't tackle a lick but was decent at tracking runners I don't think we'd have a problem. Ledley for example doesn't tackle much but makes up for it with his tracking back and workrate. Tackling isn't as important as some believe but when you can't tackle and also lack workrate there will always be problems.

Actually didnt know wether to laugh or cry at you comment there. Brown couldnt lace ki's boots?? Ki is a lazy lazy player. And cant tackle to save himself. He wouldnt have given us half of what brown ledley or commons put into the team yesterday. We played better with him in te team? Like ibrox ? The final and semi final. Hes an empty jersey in the majority of games he plays. His passing is average. Mcourt or commons can pass a defense splitting pass.

Lubo and naka actually had something positive to contribute to the team also. To compare ki with their likes is ridiculous mate. Ki is not unbelievable gifted.. He is a very average footballer whos not scared of hurting other players hes scared of getting hurt himself. A midfielder who is too scared to tackle. And people are still making excuses for him. A footballer who doesnt wanto make a tackle through fear of a wee bruise for someone is not a professional footballer. Our midfield need to battle for the ball especially in of games.

Even for the 1st 25 minutes with 11 men they bossed and outplayed us. Alukos 1 st goal ki was as fault for it by not tracking back and letting him run right through proves my point.

That's the only good game he's played against the Huns in how many ?

Ki's performance in the cup game at ibrox last season is vastly overrated, one of the most over exaggerated performances I can remember in fact. As a team we played well that day, ki's individual performance was nowhere near as good as its made out to be

Ki and Scott Browns performance that day was absolutely outstanding. Ki ran the show in the midfield.

I can accept Ki is crap defensively. But his passing is not average. Never has been. He's as technical as it gets.

I believe commons passing to be better. An his work rate and general ability. He does have some poor performances but i would say he is miles ahead of ki in every way

I wouldn't say miles ahead but he is ahead, he is also one of our most experienced players so he should be.
