Im not a ki fan and selling him was my idea

Fella has tons of ability but imo he doesnt work hard enough my perfect pairing for ch would be wanyama and kayal if one of them is injured ledley now and pre season make me eat my words ki son but so far not so good

as much as i like Ki, everyone fit, he wouldnt be in my Starting 11 right now....either would brown for that matter though...Kayal - Ledley CM for me

never fancied Brown outwide tbh, not a great crosser or dribbler, i also think ledley is better in the centre, so my fav mid would be...

    Forrest Kayal Ledley Commons/Sammy

i do like brown, just dont think he's as important as everyone thinks

Aye, the rest of our midfield combinations didn't even come close.

I agree, in fact our worst period of drawing games constantly last year came with Ki in the team, and likewise the games at the start of this season when we kept dropping points. Kayal was off form because he was doing the defensive work of two players. My gripe with Ki ias he is too much of a luxury player who, in a midfield two, just does not put in the graft necessary.

    agree with this.

neither brown nor ki would be in my first choice midfield. although, brown can play in more positions/more roles. he can play out wide, and attacking/defensive in the centre. ki can only really play one position and role so brown is more likely to feature.

when browns having a bad day in terms of touch etc, he can always rely on his energy, determination and work rate and can force the opposition into mistakes etc. when kis touch is off, he offers nothing. thats the difference imo.

The period of draws with Ki in the team came in tandem with Kayal, Brown and Hooper injuries.

McGinn was actually one of our best players in this period of games.

He was our best player in this period, one that stood up and was counted. He was also one of our best players at the start of the season. His form dovetailed after getting a virus on National duty.

He's also played a mental amount of games this season with no break from last.

the criticism of Ki annoys me more than the Sammy or Cha criticism, i think the criticism of Ki is unwarranted and people use him as a scapegoat for the teams failings....always easier to blame it on an individual i suppose :87:

I think Ki gets it in the neck because he is both overly praised and overly criticised off of different sections of our support.

:56:, there was always a love/hate affair with McGeady from some quarters

even at the start of this season.....Kayal and Hooper, 2 of our best last season, have a poor start to the season and..."They urny trying! get them tae *!"

just silly, players go in and out of form, especially when theyre young, like our team mainly is

another one i love...one week paddy scores a wonder goal, people are like, "hes our best player, noone else like him in british football, should start everygame".......next week...."he didny score a wondergoal....hes past it, unfit *, SELL!" :56:

come t think of it, Broony used to get it ALOT too
