Aye I posted about that mate, there was a substitution as well which should have added even more time on as well. Think the general rule is a minute per goal and 30s per sub. Poor, poor standard of refereeing today which, whilst we were poor, the timings of them undoubtedly cost us the game imo.

The Wanyama one was a definite red. Cha probably in the cold light of day was too.

Mixed feelings after that. In the pub I was feeling ok, the atmosphere was outstanding, didn't pay much attention to their second 2 goals because I was too busy partying. Now that I'm home, my overriding emotion is annoyance at the ref. 2 shocking red card calls. I'm not saying we would have won with 11 men because we were pretty poor before Cha was sent off, but we never really got a fighting go at it. Matthews switched off for their second goal (offside), but their third could definitely have been prevented had we had 11, or even 10 men. I don't think Lenny got his selection wrong, ok Izzy looked good when he came on but given the way things have gone for him this season and his lack of match practise I don't think it would have been wise to throw him in from the start. And for those having a go at Lenny for getting himself sent to the stand, at least wait to hear what he said. We know what the ref's like, for all we know Lenny could have calmly asked for clarification on the red or explained in a reasoned manner that there were covering defenders. If he went on a rant then fair enough, but we don't know that that sending off was justified. Wait until we do before condemning him.
    Other than that... CHAMPIONEES!

Although i agree about the officials they were *, I think i could have been another story if Stokes had put his sitter to bed also. Not looking for a scapegoat just saying.

then Whittaker should have been sent off in the same tackle as he was high and over the ball?

Yeah, Stokes should have easily put that one in. Either volley it higher or control in onto the ground and slot it in.

See when you teach kids to tackle, you tell them to do exactly what Wanyama done. You would probably show them a video of a similar tackle, he won the ball, never a red.

As for the Cha one, that was just ridiculous.

The worst thing about today for me was that we played 93 minutes and nobody snapped McCulloch in half.

Cha was never a red granted he pulled the shirt but wallace fell the worng way for it to be a pull back, Wanyama while techinically a good tackle was a red based on the laws sadly the rule about 2 footed tackles need looking at, fair enough if the tackle is dangerous and the player doesn't take the ball then it is a red but if he judges it right and wins the ball why should he be punished for making what is essentially a perfect tackle ? it requires more skill to get that right than it would have done for any other challenge. the second goal was offisde. stokes twice through on the keeper onside both given off. not even 4 minutes stoppage time played despite a sub and and a goal seems the odds were stacked against us regardless.

however they can enjoy there day the rest are numbered tick tock tick tock

Going back to my point about not criticising Lenny... just heard his BBC interview, he was sent off AFTER his team talk. He had a word with the ref in the tunnel, but was told when coming back out that he couldn't go back. Ref also refused to speak to him after the game. In my opinion, that is a disgrace. GBNL.

when i saw cha was in the team i feared the worst, this guy is a liability at right back, always getting caught out of position and in front of the guy he is suppossed to be marking and having to run back, which is exactly what happened for the pen, bad decision by NL to play him. Altho celtic had a long winning run it is clear that in a lot of those games they won while not playing well and i dont think NL is the long term aswer to the celtic managerial position, you can say he overhauled a 15 point defecit, but he created it in ht first place. It is of the utmost importance that we win the league this year but i cant see NL taking celtic much further. Todays performance was a shambles and any one who knows the celtic job like he does knows what you are up against and you must keep your mouth shut and your powder dry and do your talking on the field via results. His biggest mistake today was team selection and he is soley responsible for that., a different team selection with a different attitude and you dont have to rely the Ref or the SfA.

    I'm not picky.
Need to see it again mate. He never pulled the shirt - he put his hand on Wallace's shoulder and as soon as he done that Wallace went down as if he had just just lost the movement in his legs.
