Joe Hart, vincent Kompany an the like have been better Premiership players than Steven Gerrard?

I understand Scholes and Giggs and if you added in Henry, Shearer and Eric Cantona an the like. Otherwise? No * chance.

In my opinion every player on that list is better than Steven Gerrard.

Think he's just being biased towards Liverpool because he hates them he's defiantly in the top 10 best perm players ever.

Even just now though, if it was a big game and you needed to pick a player I would have to Gerrard as the first name on the teamsheet. He has been an astonishing olayer with some massive, massive performances throughout his career. Eclipsing all of them players I think.

 

dunno how you can really say Joe Hart is better...

obviously you cant compare them ability wise, cause obviously there roles are incomparable, but Hart, isnt as important to his team, and isnt the best in his respective position, hes maybe Higher up the list of goalkeepers as Gerrard is Midfielders, but there is more quality Midfielders to compete with than goalkeepers

 

Hart is very important to city. His saves have been world class this season. Take him out the team and they will concede a lot more goals.

 

He wouldn't be in my EPL 11.

Gerrard is more important to Liverpool though

 

I've never seen Scholes or Giggs match what Gerrard did in Istanbul.

Closest that came to it was Roy Keane in Turin to get to the Champions League Final 1999.

 

Hart is just as important to City. His saves have probably earned them about 10 to 12 points.

 

Are you talking about careers or one off games here.

 

Hart has been the hero and saved city loads of times this season. And i don't think we've seen city play without hart so we cant really judge .
