I'm from West Lothian and I'd say the Tims are outnumbered 5 to 1..* it I love an underdog!!

Maybe closer to 3-1 huns :52:

    I'm no a hun!

But in Glasgow its completely mixed, there are only a few Celtic/Rangers areas. Bridgeton is the biggst hun area in the city and that's in the east.

I would say that OF support of any kind was rare in the NE until the early 90s. A lot of glory hunters ditched their local teams for Rangers at first and then us when things improved from the late 90s onwards. I think people underestimate just how much a teams success or entertainment value draws floating fans. Also true in England of course. You get the hard core who support due to ideological reasons but I think there are an awful lot of people who dissapear when a team is struggling. Both us and the huns have seen periods when you can see that the hardcore support is actually less than half of the fans.

No, I'm from the east end and there are plenty of huns here. A ton of hun pubs and places like Bridgeton that are no go areas for Celtic fans wearing colours

Live in west fife and we are outnumbered tims to huns by about 4/5-1, bad state of affairs but makes the OF wins all the more sweater.

Think though that Celtic have failed to tap into the whole Keltic identity, Gaelic and independence thing which is massive in the north of Scotland because like it or not we do still come across and look like an Irish heritage club in terms of songs, flags etc and bigots aside this is not going to be a huge draw for people with little or no Irish roots. IMO we would be huge in the north of Scotland if we tapped more into the wider Keltic/Gaelic/nationalist thing with more of a Scottish angle. I am not saying we should lose what we have but we could add to it.

No really, most of Glasgow is pretty mixed theres only a few areas that are mostly Celtic or mostly Rangers like Coatbridge(Celtic), Bridgeton(Huns).

I would even say around Ibrox is mostly Celtic and around Celtic Park is mostly Rangers.

Infact I dont know if Coatbridge is even in Glasgow or counts as its own place. Other Celtic areas are Royston and Castlemilk.

Greenock has the the biggest CSC in Britain (or at least it used to be if its not still) but there is also a pretty big huns supporters club as well. Few Celtic pub buses go from Greenock as well and there are/were a few from Port Glasgow too. I would guess that up to a 1000 tims travel up from Greenock.

Thought the * would be in their beds, or heading in their droves to the nearest bridge!

Makes it all the sweeter when we skelp them, or when small matters such as administration and liquidation occur :celt_2:

Usually I wouldn't go out for a derby game but I remember watching a couple in the Comet Bar in the Port and afterwards the town was crawling with green and white, quite a few Celtic pubs there.

Dundee has a lot of Tims thanks to an area called Lochee. Similar situation to Glasgow etc. = Irish immigration to work in the mills/factories/mines in days gone by.
Dundee United was founded by Irish although they don't hold onto their roots. Their fans I know are great.
Personally the Dundee FC supporters I know are scum so no doubt secretly like Gers.

?????? Were NOT from Glasgow  Were the ONLY place in Scotland who has a St Patricks week long festival + It annoys our neighbours from Airdrie which is even better :icon_mrgreen:. We have a Celtic shop so that usually tells you if its a Celtic town or not.

I stay in Kirkcaldy and we are heavily outnumbered both in the town and the surrounding area.

I was at Uni in Dundee and it was a good Tim town - hardly ever saw any Huns.

From talking to people and general experience most people north of Dundee are either huns or support their home team with a hun leaning over us (apart from Aberdeen obviously). There aren't many Catholics in the north/islands i dont think and whilst it's not a cut and dry catholic = Celtic, prod = Rangers, it would be daft not to acknowledge the correlation.
