Chris Jericho has reportedly contacted WWE about coming back for another short run.

Jericho has offered his needs through Raw & Smackdown and wants to finish at Wrestlemania in pushing through the talent that need to go over.

However, The Wrestling Observer report that Jericho wants control over his schedule whereas WWE want him on a full time basis (i.e More time with WWE than Fozzy) and that's something Jericho just isn't willing to do at the minute.

 

If I were Vince, I'd be pushing hard to bring back as much former big name talent as I could. They have WrestleMania coming up, along with the WWE Network, which they will be promoting endlessly until it finally starts broadcasting.

As I've said before, they will need to pull off a masterpiece in 2013 to beat this past year's WrestleMania. It was the biggest and most successful of all time, statistically.

CZW is a disease, no talent so they do stupid *. I know some WWE talent has been there but not done that retarded crap.

 

How did ambrose get from that CZW to WWE? how would he ever make that big a leap cos im sure WWE don't do talent scouting in places like that

 

I don't think he went directly from CZW to WWE developmental. Was he not in Ring of Honor or something before he was picked up by Vince and went to FCW?

Either way, I'm just glad that he's there now. I believe he is the future face of the WWE. Future Austin, Rock, Hogan, Cena, whatever. He has everything. Mic skills, wrestling ability and a dangerous edge to his character.

I've often heard him compared to Heath Ledger's Joker from Batman and that is quite a good comparison. He has elements of Brian Pillman in his character too.

 

was thinking about this earlier when was the last time we got a steel cage match i can't remember having one in ages tbe last one i mind was cena v show at no way out but there has to be a more recent one

 

I think he's great and I agree that he will be the next face, that first promo The Shield done, the way he walked away at the end was really similar to The Joker's walk in Batman

 

His facial expressions are the key for me. Some of the wacky faces he pulls when out there in front of the cameras or cutting a promo tell the story better than a lot of wrestlers/performers can using words.

Paul Heyman is another guy that is gifted in that department. Watch him the next time Punk is cutting a promo and some of the stuff he does in the background. Genius.

 

Yeah Heyman's great at stuff like that, even just lifting the WWE title while Punk's talking is great

 

I know The Shield is basically the same idea but I miss Nexus

 

I loved Nexus, especially their theme song. The Shield has the potential to be so much better though, mainly due to the fact that some of the hardcore fans are more familiar with the likes of Ambrose and Rollins than they were with Otunga and Tarver.

Eventually, I'd like to see The Shield officially join up with Punk, Heyman and even Lesnar to form a super faction. I guess you could throw Big E Langston in there too, if he doesn't stick around with Ziggler and AJ. They would be unstoppable and could literally dominate WWE for years, the way the NWO did with WCW in the 90's.

CM Punk celebrates the 400th day of his WWE Championship reign today

 

Girlfriend got me WrestlemaniaX7 and Armageddon 06 for chrimbo.. That's my xmas day telly sorted!

 

- As we have noted, WWE officials are going back and forth on whether or not the Ryback vs. CM Punk TLC match will actually take place at the January 7th RAW.

With The Rock in the house that night, should they do the match, the plan would be to have The Rock at ringside. The idea is that they could hype the match up all night with the idea that it could be Ryback going on to the Royal Rumble to defend against The Rock. A source says to expect at least one segment with The Rock and Ryback that night.

- On a related note, it's said that The Rock is perfectly fine with dropping the WWE Title to John Cena at WrestleMania 29. It's been reported Rock has been under the impression that he will be the one to end CM Punk's title reign at the Royal Rumble.

- There are rumors within WWE that John Morrison may make his return to the company as a surprise entrant in the 2013 Royal Rumble match. We do know that Morrison has not signed a contract with WWE but has made it very clear that he’s open to a return.

- While there has been talk of having Sheamus win the Royal Rumble for the second year in a row and face a heel Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 29, a new name is being discussed as a potential Rumble winner – Ryback.

Vince McMahon has brought up the idea of pushing Ryback even harder as the new babyface of SmackDown. This would include a lengthy run with the World Heavyweight Title. Nothing is confirmed yet but the talk included Ryback dominating the Rumble match, beginning a feud with Orton and then facing him at WrestleMania.

Regarding the Rumble, most key points for the 30-man match this year have been laid out by Triple H, Vince McMahon, Pat Patterson and other officials. There was a meeting about a week ago where many twists, including Ryback dominating, were discussed.

 

id be fine for that but what about Ziggler there pushing him as a big heel! He deserves more than a month title run!
