Netflix on PS3 and Xbox

Anyone who lives in the uk who changed their version the the american one having trouble getting on ? It keeps saying connection failed try again.

Anyone know if this has anything to do with me changing my region to US.

 

debit card didnt work for me. had to use paypal

 

I set this up on xbox the other day, was excellent, changed to american one and watched a good few films, started watchin lost which a havent seen, got hooked instantly, came home from work the other night and tried to watch lost and netflix wont load at all..says cannot connect, go to netflix.com/tvhelp or something, done everything from deleting and reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting router, all useless !

The dns settings you change in that video sends your internet traffic through "unblock us". You get a free trial but then you have to pay for the service unfortunately .

 

ffs what a tease was getting right into a few shows in the american version as well

Hypothetically if I change my dns back to normal then back to the US one again do you think it will reset the free trial?

 

I get this too, though it was to good to be true haha.

 

What ive done for know is sign up for a weeks trial directly from the website (only have to give them an email adress). You're idea is definitely worth a try :icon_mrgreen: I wouldn't think it would work but its worth a go.

 

I'm gonna sign up for a weeks trial, finish all of the us office then cancel it no way am I paying for lovefilm, netflix and then a way to watch a better netflix

Last question: After I'm done with "unblock us" how do I set my dns on my back to it's original cause right now it's stuck on the american one and at the end of the day I'd rather have the uk version than none at all.

Excellent choice with the us office

If your on ps3 just go network settings - internet connection settings - easy - then just select select your network as normal. that should do the trick

Thanks for the tip on resetting my settings mate youve been a big help and yeah im on ps3, and I'm in love with the US office. Didn't think i'd like it beause ive always been a big fan of the original office and didnt think the us version could top it but it's defo a beauty of remake, didnt really like the first series because it was basically copying the british office but season 2 and on words is magic.

Yeh its amazing, series 1 was a bit strange how certain scenes where identical like the stapler in the jelly etc but it does get so much better :icon_mrgreen:

The American content is brilliant! Can't believe how much more quality there is on their version.

Just got this on my xbox just now, looks quality

Downloaded the US version, a lot more on it like. Think i'm going to pay the £5 odd every month, seems worth it
