    I have been betting on horses for over 20 years. In that time I've had loads of "tips" but only about 5 or 6 that have paid off. I'm now of the opinion that a lot of so called tips are false information to push out the price of another horse.

    So from now on when I get a tip I'll look to see if the connections have another horse in the same race. Until then I'll just lose my money on my own selections.

    Backed Jonnie Skull a few times and although I've done quite well he's been poor recently, but I'm sticking with him in the 5.00 at Brighton. it's a shame he's up against Byrd in Hand and Lutine Charlie who both got me place money last time out at Brighton, Hawk Moth is also a worry, but need to give Jonnie one more chance.

    Also like to do a big outsider every so often, todays' kamikaze bet is Coarse Cut in the 2.50.

    Not a tip or anything, but I strongly fancy Maarek (each way) in the 305 at the Curragh today.

    J Spencer over from England for the ride, currently raining, with the racing post saying any more rain "greatly enhances his chance"

    Alright mate , just from how ive seen them run in previous races. Even if they havent placed but ran well in better company then if i see them again on a card running against others not as good i will back them.

    This particular horse won for me last time out and a few races earlier too its 6lbs up in weight but should be thereabouts regards that here i think after how easy it won last time, or so i hope.

    Some i win some i lose lol
