I'm guessing they must have a lot of commercial income through that great stadium they have. I think they put on boxing matches etc there.

I'm pretty sure it's about how much income they take in rather than the owners wealth etc.

If it was on how rich your owners are then with Dermot and O'Brien's combined wealth we would be the 4th(IIRC) richest team in British football. Ahead of United and the Glazers.

Exactly mate.Im sure this is just turnover. They are all in debt up to their eyeballs and it a disgrace. The figure should reflect which teams are richest after debt......then we would see the truth of the conspiracy by these top clubs to keep the status quo.ie,Champions league with only 1 in 3 clubs actually champions.Keep the closed shop going!

the only teams on that list that don't have huge debt a think are arsenal, the german teams, ac and real because those to are seen as the establishment clubs and am sure that the government helps them with money

I they are mate the owners borrowed the money to buy the club and then shifted the debt onto the club, last season a number close to 1 billion came out about how much in debt they were am sure its dropped but it will still be above 6-7 hundred million

It's reports like this that demonstrate what we're up against when it comes to competing in Europe or in the transfer markets. Clubs from the big five leagues typically get a fairly balanced share of income from gates, broadcast and commercial revenue streams whereas our revenues are totally dominated by gate receipts. The only way to boost our revenues, both commercial and broadcast, is regular European participation and I'm not sure we've given enough priority to that over the last few seasons. In revenue terms its even more important than us winning leagues.

    Not at all.

The debt is still high but no where near the sort of 1bill or 600.700 m listed above .

The debt stands at £432.8m .

And the club definitely are within FFP rules that will come into play and have exactly nothing to worry about .

my bad it was the glazer who are in 1 billion debt but the actual debt figure for man u is 590 million pounds according to what I have just read you also need to take in to account the interest levels they pay on that debt per month
