He will probably be contracted to end of June.

Hope so, as we would get money for every day he is over there.

We'll still get a payment for him for the whole time he is there even if his deal runs out as he was with us during the WC qualifiers

    :Samaras: :57:

Does anyone know if Celtic gets the Fifa money for him?
If they don't, who does (since technically he's unattached)

Christ... cannae believe that some claim it wasn't a pen! It was a stonewaller!

Sammy had pulled the trigger and his foot was on the down-swing when the Ivory Coast lad clipped it. Changed the direction of his stride causing him to trip. Very similar effect to a rugby tap-tackle!

There's is no big game player like Sammy, sensational performance all round. Held the ball up, ran the channels, was excellent on the counter and really led from the front. Not to mention getting the assist and winning goal.

What I'd do to see him in a Celtic shirt next season. :54:

Big man's had a great tournie for me.

I'm very saddened to see him leave Celtic, and another Lawell casualty again that has been harshly treated i.e. Miller (regardless of what has happened since) and Jackie Mac.

Wish him all the best and hope Greece do well (as they're my 2nd National Team). Another Mythos will be drank during their WC trip. :)

Looks like the amount of 'Bye Bye England' tweets ITV received from Celtic fans tipped them over the edge :smiley-laughing002:

ITV have been doing that all tournament to be fair. They called some Iranian fella who played for Fulham like 4 years ago "a fulham legend" and said Gervinho was "an Arsenal legend"

He was still their best player who had a few shots at goal and was unlucky. He's still been their best player this tournament so far.

I'd say Karagounis was by far their best player up until he went off last night. Only one who showed any composure when on the ball and used it intelligently. Cracking shot on him as well.

Thought the left back had a great game considering Drogba drapped the nut on him in first half and half his face was swollen.
