Best player on the park in the first half from both sides , had them bricking it each time he got the ball and took the game to them .

Put some cracking pull backs into dangerous areas which no player took a gamble on we needed more support in the box at times.

He was poor in the 2nd half due to the fact we dropped the tempo and let them back into the game being honest i think the lads heads went down at 1-1 just before ht .

    He's doing it again! :37:

Putting in performances right before a transfer window in which many of us wanted to see him punted.

Here we go again, we think that Sammy has turned a corner and we re-buff any £2-3 million offers from clubs who've been scouting him short-term and think he's the mustard!

The end result is that, come February, Sammy will still be in the Hoops and (yet again) his fragile psyche will have collapsed!!! He'll stink the place out for the next 12 months, then leave for buttons (having drained a wage for an even longer period!).

IT'S NOT WORTH THE * GAMBLE!!!! WE'VE BEEN HERE A FEW TIMES BEFORE WITH HIM! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUNT HIM!

    ... and breathe! :icon_mrgreen:

Totally agree mate, glad that he's started to improve but no way is he worth the hassle over the course of a season. Even if he does do the buisiness against the huns on 28th, we have to move on from Samaras.

Aye, he's doing it again - being the best player on the * park.

    What's he like eh?

And anyway, what do you mean "many of us" wanted to see him punted? Unless of course you inhabit some institute for the remedial education of the terminally dunderheaded. He's been our best player over about the last month and a half.

If only we could sell him before the Rangers game. Cos he might do that thing again where he wins the game for Celtic, scoring both the goals. How frustrating would that be, eh? :bbpd:

Ach we have to move on from you.

Best player on the park last night, Di Natale included.

    Give it a rest.

Never been Sammy's biggest fan, on many occasions i've given him dogs abuse but if he plays well i'll give him credit, consistency is his main problem but at the moment he's making a decent contribution.

Ladies and Gentlemen... I have based my opinions on historical fact! Some of you seem to be basing yours on wishful thinking!

I invite you all to return to this conversation at the end of the season! I will gladly proclaim Sammy to be the Messiah if he continues to play at 80% of the level he has shown in the last 6 weeks for 80% of the rest of the season. Until then, he will just remain a very naughty bhoy! Will you reciprocate!?

Its mental the abuse and praise he gets.

If he does 3/4 good things in one game then he's labelled immense and best on the park and if he makes 3/4 mistakes he's labelled the worst and terrible. I think because hes so good/bad people watch him too much and everything he does is scrutinised and remembered compared to other players.

I'll remember that, Sammy will make a massive impact on the SPL Title if we do manage to win it this season.

He's been awesome lately, yet some people still use the old "He's just not good enough and consistent enough" myth.

He isnt consistant enough though, you only need to watch it to see it.

There was a home game not long ago, one of the last 4 or so that fans around me were jumping out their seats shouting "On you go Sammy" etc and then in the second half the same fans were "Fucksake Sammy ya useless *" "get him to *" etc :56: I think it was actually the game he scored in, people were chocking to get him off the park like 10 minutes into the second half after basically hailing him as a messiah 30 minutes earlier.

As much as he frustrates me, one thing I certainly wouldn't do is shout personal abuse at him from the stands! That's not on!

    i agree with you, Scootz.

he's played great these last couple of weeks but i have a feeling he'll be mince come Feb. he's done it every year since being here. he'll play great up to a window then his form will drop again. this is his longest run of form in three years.

    consistently inconsistent.

personally, i'd let him go if we were offered £3m+.
