Why do people think Samaras isn't lazy? He is. He'll run and put an effort in if there's something in it for him. Did you actually watch him against Atletico Madrid? He just walked around and never tracked their full back to help Mulgrew out.

 

Stokes is not lazy. Just because the greasy Greek runs around like a headless chicken and then falls over the ball does not absolve him of laziness. Stokes is a clever and creative player who, despite popular opinion, puts a shift in. He may moan, but I'd rather that than do what Samantha does: fall over, appeal for a foul to the referee and then sit on the floor in a strop for 40 seconds.

 

Samaras is an imposter. Poor work rate, goes to ground to easily and ultimately could hit a coos erse with a banjo.

Cant honestly believe he has admirers.

Glad your not the manager, stokes and hooper get it easier because they scored about 20 goals a piece last season and each contributes with assists.

Sammy and Murphy should have been punted in the window to free up wages for a JVOH type striker instead of a Bangura(might turn out good when settled)who is too similar to Hooper and Stokes for me..

 

end of the day no samaras wasn't to blame today lennon was. But to say he would have helped us is a * joke, the guy should never been seen in our team again he's had too many chances and just walks about the park holding he head in disbelief at anything that doesn't go his way. Would he have made the difference today if he came on just like he did on thursday?
