Georgios Samaras

As much as i don't think he was responsible at all for today, do you think the huns would keep playing a striker who never scores?

 

hes frustrating but the Defence lost us that game

 

not the worst performer but I feel in these 100mph games his style of play isn't suitable. he is too hesitant for my liking and before you know it he has 3 around him.

 

Samaras should have started the game up top alone. Not playing alongside Hooper.

 

I'll win my headers and do * all else and a few fans will praise me for it. I'd love you to be my manager mate.

 

The problem with Samaras is not Samaras (as much as I do not rate him) but the fact he changes the whole shape of the team. The two goals we scored today both came from just playing the ball from the left side. Nothing comes down the right as when Samaras plays it is just punted into the hole every time.

 

Yes thats right get tae * sammy u imposter, does that go for all the lads today. C'mon lads. Lenny picks the team. He will know that he Made mistakes today! I dont understand why the team get chopped and changed for rangers. Why!? They are nothing special! We can beat them! Keep the same team that pumped motherwell. There was players that disnt deserve to be dropped. Stokes must be fuming. I dont care what sammy done previous in games. Stokes deserves to start.. As did ledley, as did forrest. That lot wuda been * it coming up against thrm. They wuda been delighted with that selection. Lenny got it wrong today, unfortunatly. Also the players that was on the pitch, attitudes not gd enuf!! They deserved to win ... c***s

 

He won headers, hooper didn't latch onto them.

Overall he had a good game, brown was the best player with Sammy a close second.

 

He definitely wasn't to blame today for that shambles but how the * can people still defend this guy? He is absolutely * shocking and should be nowhere near the bench never mind in the starting team. It is * infuriating watching him and quite depressing that he is considered an important player by a couple of different managers. What the * they see in him, I do not * know

 

WHY :'(

 

For me I am finished with him, I have defended him for a while now but the simple fact is his decision making, work ethic and consistency are all suspect.
Also lately he does not look like a player out to make a point, body language is shocking, enough is enough.

 

Every player except brown and sammy were poor, mulgrew was decent so why is no one else getting pelters?

K Wilson was poor, so was Ki, so was Kayal, so was the new LB, so should we slate them and drop them all as well?

 

I mean anywhere on the forum.

Sammy is being blamed, then loovens a bit, then Lenny, but there were 11 players on that pitch that didn't show up.

This thread will probably get locked, but i feel my criticism is just and it needs to be said:

Now today the whole team failed to perform to any decent standard and i don't want to just single out sammy, but this guy is woeful and i'm getting sick of being told to "keep faith" or "get behind him". By those with green tinted specs on.

The fact is for a striker his goal scoring record is shocking, he seems to run about like a blue-arsed fly and far more contend to run out to the wings than stay in the box.

I dread seeing his name on a team-sheet and i have to ask what does lennon see in this guy? i can understand him being picked today with stokes not fully fit and bangoura just coming into the side, but this is not just about today, his general performance is *. Lennon although a rookie manager is making a terrible mistake sticking with this guy.

 

sammy has been one of our better players the past two games.

 

Most of the team were * today, with the exceptions of Brown and Samaras.

To be fair, Samaras only really starts the big games and people wonder why he doesnt score? He doesnt get a good run of games bar the odd start and odd sub appearance.

 

Exactly, talk about "green tinted spec's", how about the "we lost a game lets all blame sammy get him to * specs" He was decent today, the best of a bad bunch.

 

He's a lazy *.
