I had to laugh when he told me he bought a new bike for 3 grand and he told me ,"its only for going down hills"

 

There's a fair bit of snobbery in mtb, you get all the posh guys with the 5 grand bikes and all the proper gear turning up looking down on you if you don't have a bike worth a certain amount bunch of wallpapers. All the seven stains are worth trying, ae and kiruchtree in particular but be prepared for a sore * if you've not got a full suspension bike.

 

I've done the red blue and black many times at Glentress on my hardtail. Ya don't need a FS bike for rolling hills. all you need is hydraulic brakes good front suspension pair o baws and a lid.

 

You shouldn't be sitting down so why the sore *?.
