Lennon gets blamed because his substitutions are baffling, thats got nothing to do with celtic fans being drama queens.

 

I'm absolutely * myself for the final, the thought of us being the team that Hibs beat to end their 111 year Scottish Cup curse horrifies me.

 

He must drop ambrose and start playing players in there proper positions or just don't play them

 

I totally agree about the criticism with Lenny and tactics,if your not playing them in there positions this goes for mulgrew,mcgeough,watt then don't play them and more with the other 2 how are we supposed to see the development when there in positions there not comfortable with!

It's frustrating and needs addressing mulgrew is not a midfielder..
Tony watt is not a winger and Dylan mcgeough is definitely never a wing back!

 

I would just love to know what Lennon thinks Ambrose brings to the team.

The guy can barely defend, he can't head the ball (look at the missed chances in the two legs against Juventus) and he tends to run forward a lot into the midfield area and lose the ball.

 

Beats me. Possibly too stubborn to cut our losses on this one. Who knows. Whatever he sees he's the only person at Celtic Park that sees it!

 

Or maybe he's trying to convert him into a midfielder seeing as our games are pretty much meaningless now?

I agree the guy probably isn't going to cut it but you can't blame Lenny for trying.

 

We can blame Lenny for continuing to try with Ambrose when the guy is a complete walloper. This guy Ambrose on the balance of probabilities probably cost us any chance of getting to the Last 8 of the CL. He is the worse header of a ball I have ever seen.

Ambrose shouldn't be anywhere near that Cup Final on the 26th or we will get stiffed.

 

Well we are struggling for CM's for the cup final so he's probably seeing if he can cut it.

Listen I was as baffled as anyone that he stayed on so long the other day but the fact we are short for the cup final might be the reason he stuck with him so long.

That being said if he starts the final in any position then I'll be sure Lenny has taken leave of his senses.

 

I would hope that the way Ambrose has been playing, he gets dropped and the midfield center pairing will be something like Ledley and Kayal (or Brown if he can make it). CD pairing to be Mulgrew and Wilson.

I'm all for giving guys more chances, but I really think Ambrose has to be dropped.

While I think Ambrose should be dropped, I don't think he should be booted out or let go. Look at Wilson - he was totally rank-rotten last season with us, and was a total bombscare, but he was a completely different player this season. Sometimes players just need longer than others. I'd like to see how Ambrose gets on next year and then take it from there.

 

Ambrose will be played in defensive midfield in the final. Theres no one else to do it. I didn`t see the match yesterday but I was told he was * dreadful. I`d continue to play him in there because he needs to get used to it for this final

 

I hope he plays McGeouch.

Im panicking about the Cup final now, he better not play Ambrose and Mulgrew in midfield, Samaras up front, leave out Stokes etc

That first team you posted is ridiculously attacking. Something in between your first and second teams will do me.

I would love to see Dylan in about the midfield but it's not going to happen.

Your second team is pretty much what we'll see.

Would love to see that team but its an absolute certainty that Stokes will be dropped, Samaras will come in and McGeouch won`t even make the bench. We`ll spend most of the match hoofing the ball towards Samaras who won`t even bother challenging for it most of the time. Can`t wait

 

If Matthews is back he might play Lustig at centre-half
