So you're telling me I'm right, but I shouldn't be mentioning it? :97:

And, because we have scored more goals does not mean our creativity has improved - means our ability to convert has.

Maybe you should concentrate more on the way we play. Why not point out that we dont have a creative centre half or goalkeeper eg? There would be little point buying this elusive creative CM if we keep with a similar playing style. We tend to use our CM's to protect the defence and allow our full/wing backs to get forward and our wide attacking mids to roam and float across the park. Commons and Forrest being the obvious ones, Sammy as well. We even have Hooper dropping deep to allow those players to push on.

Scoring more goals does mean our creativity has improved. The total object of being creative is to score goals. We have done this.

No, the point of being creative is to create more goal scoring chances. Scoring more chances is not being creative, it is being more clinical.

In a sense you are kind of right, as creating more chances means we could score more but creativity doesn't score the goals.

I think we are all in danger of getting bogged down here in semantics - creativity, goals scored, goals conceded etc, and missing the bigger picture.

The bigger picture may well be Lennon has lost the dressing room with his penchant for constantly playing his blue eyed boys in the team, to the exclusion of more deserving players in the squad, and I am thinking of players like Stokes, McGeouch, Gershon and Zaluska here who don't seem to come into the picture with Lennon no matter how well they play or try, they just don't seem to be given a fair chance in the first team.

When that sort of poison drifts into the dressing room it causes resentment and anger amongst the excluded players and complacency and laziness amongst the preferred elite, and the disappointing run of draws and defeats may well be down to simply that Lennon has indeed lost the dressing room.

And Lennon's statement today that we can expect to lose more league points so as to be fresher for the Scottish Cup and next years Champions League ( that is if we qualify ), could well be Lennon getting his excuses in now before further embarrassments and defeats appear on the horizon.

There is not one shred of evidence, not one, to suggest that Neil Lennon has lost the dressing room.

    I'm not picky.
I personally think it's good that Lennon is giving time off for some players and is putting more focus on the Scottish Cup Final and the Champions League qualifiers. The SPL has been won so why shouldn't he concentrate on the Final and the Qualifiers?

Hopefully it will all pay off and come next season we can look forward to another season with Lennon as manager and us playing on Europe's biggest footballing stage again.

As for losing the dressing room? :56:

What's so funny? Craig Levein is a far better manager than Neil Lennon. Anyone with any knowledge of football can see that. Look at the job Levein did with Scotland, Neil Lennon could never hope to achieve that level of success.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was again at the centre of an abuse investigation by Police after being sent a threatening tweet.

Police were alerted after Lennon was sent a tweet that read: “I’ve got a bullet with your name on it.” The tweet was sent from the Twitter account of 17-year-old Ryan Cameron of East Lothian.

Police Scotland said that inquiries were ongoing.
In 2012, Trevor Muirhead, 44, of Kilwinning, and Neil McKenzie, 43, were each given five-year jail sentences after being found guilty of conspiring to assault Mr Lennon, after they sent package bombs to the Celtic manager’s home.
And last year David Craig, of Paisley, was jailed for 14 months for posting a mocked-up photograph of Lennon covered in bullet wounds on the internet.

There was a lot of sectarian pish on it as well if my memory serves me right.

Lennon, for his own sake, should keep a low profile. Ditch Twitter etc...

That'll be him in the stands for the cup final then.

He can have no complaints if the rules are clear, he's making it far too easy for them.

Totally agree. It may be just a stupid wee * trying to "act the big guy", but it has to be taken seriously and for them to post * like that then they deserve everything they get.

    Unbelievable.

I thought it was a touchline ban; not a "cannae be in the tunnel" ban.
