Given the enormity of the decision that went against us I reckon he was entitled to have a go.

    * knows how long he's going to be out for, could be a while as they'll hammer him for it especially since he's already due to be punished anyway.

    Hun patter.

Neil has every right to confront the ref on this. I'm shocked people don't back him on this.
Yes we should have buried this team with our chances, however I watched the ref and he couldn't wait to blow to give that penalty::47: while not given for the same 1 minute later:31:.
You who slate him on this have bought into THEIR planned media negative reporting on Lenny. Again he will be vilified in the press for it and will be the only manager/player that will get it.

When I think of the antics of other managers/players that done more yet not a problem with it, but when it's lenny the back pages, spl and sfa slaughter him.

    * off to Hun-Media with that quote. :38:

Our last 3 defeats we've been on the wrong end of some dreadful decisions which have cost us, there's no doubt about that. It's blatant cheating. Lenny is absolutely spot-on. If we lose without a dodgy decision does Lenny still say we were cheated? No. Get a * grip.

How? Same line-up as last weekend that played so well, winning 6-0, with one exception Matthews out/Lustig in. A decision I'm sure Neil didn't want to make, but it was taken out of his hands.

What would you have done differently? Played Stokes, maybe? Very little you could really change.

    I'm not picky.
If this is the expectation from some people then it's no wonder he gets unwarranted criticism. Nothing like putting undue pressure on the man, eh.

You were really expecting Lennon to win the treble in his first full year as Celtic manager with a new team? :97: Talk about delusional.

Oh, and by the way - it's TWO trophies or does the League title not count this year?

Hardly. We were defeated at Ibrokes last month. They scored three goals, all of them were fair. We scored two, both were fair. They scored more than us. Simple. Any Celtic supporter would tell you that they were better than us on the day and that there was no dodgy officiating involved in the final scoreline.

The same can't be said about today though. Say what you like, but the referee got the biggest call of the match wrong and what is more, he got it wrong with 90 minutes played and it cost us the opportunity to take it to extra time/penalties and possibly book a place in the final.

If we had lost 2-1 due to a legitimate goal scored by them in the 91st minute, I'd still be extremely * off, obviously, but I'd find it easier to accept at the same time. The fact that the supposedly impartial official helped them there and ended our dreams of the double is sickening though.

    Neil Lennon 41 years old.

Nearing the end of his first two full seasons in management.

1 League title, 1 lost by a point to Walter's millions.
1 Scottish Cup, 1 semi final.
    2 League Cup finals.

Can't win them all but at least we are getting close.

Lenny is still the man for me.

Mate, are you seriously telling me that Lennon should have known before the game some of his players are gonna miss from 2 yards out? Or before he bought them, he should have known they'd miss from 2 yards out? Are you for real???..If thats what youre saying then the only idiot here is you.:asshole2:

The penalty call was no bigger than Hoopers offside goal. He got both wrong. Had both not happened we would be out 1-0. By all means criticise the poor refereeing as he had a shocker, but to suggest the referee conned us about 5 minutes after we scored an offside goal doesnt really make much sense to me.

Starting with Cha is like starting with a man down anyway. To further clarify my point though, there was nothing dodgy pertaining to any of the goals they scored.

If I recall correctly, there may have been a hint of offside in their second, but then again, Hooper was marginally offside when he scored for us today. His foot was just in front of the last defender, but it still counts.

doesnt matter how close you get to winning, its how many you actually walk away from with a winners medal.

hes young, he is by no means the finished article and id like to see him here for a good while yet. but he needs to get his tactics right and the players performing all the way to the finish line otherwise its all for nothing. and today lennon got it wrong and the players didnt help him out.
