Deary me, the FIA have really * it up this time. What a poorly thought out, disproportionate penalty. Bearing in mind this sort of thing happens all the time without penalties being awarded makes it seem even more harsh. Call me a cynic but it seems all too convenient that this promotes home favourite Alonso to the front row and takes his biggest rival for the win out of the equation...

 

No wonder that boy won't sign a contact with that team, they are hopeless. They get it wrong almost every race these days. They should be coasting it this year but Red Bull will win again.

 

That is absolutely ridiculous. Surely if they were going to demote him it would be to 10th not 24th. Not that it bothers me, I ain't to keen on him anyway.

 

mclaren tell lewis to pull over for "technical reasons" over the radio - trying to obfuscate the matter

mclaren cite "force majure" as the reason for the fuelling error - clearly it is not

mclaren have done this before and got reprimanded.

it is quite clear that mclaren didn't act with integrity over what has happened here. penalty not harsh at all with that background.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton switch teams in the summer. The team has cost him too many times.

 

Hamilton seems to get punished every other race

 

Don't understand why people think this penalty is harsh on Hamilton, the rules state they have to finish with at least a litre of fuel onboard.

It's obvious the team got him to stop because they knew they had under fueled him, McLaren tried to pull a fly one and got caught.

Fully deserved penalty even though it technically wasn't Hamilton's fault but them's the rules.

Another mistake today in one of his pit stops when he either hit a tyre or a wheel nut gun that hadn't been moved out of the way properly when he was pulling out of his pit box.

Still a bit gutted for MSC, I would love to see him get a win or atleast a podium.

Schumacher has been given a 5 grid place penalty at Monaco for his crash with Bruno Senna today.

 

5 races, 5 different winners

Schumacher is * about the tires being too hard to read even though it's gave the most exciting first quarter of a season I've seen.

Chuffed for Maldonado, after all the flak he took last season about being a pay driver. He's certainly proved them wrong and shown what a talent he is. Shame such a great day for Williams ended with a fire.

Schumacher should call it day he is * hopeless nowadays, no matter how much he tries to pass the blame to Senna it was 100% his fault for yesterdays crash. Hope Kimi wins in Monaco.

 

Monaco this weekend which is always a special race.

Hoping one of the Lotus guys can get the win but this season is far from predictable.
