'FAIR PLAY'?! If he's knocked us back, 'fair play' are the last words I would associate with his behaviour. I can't believe he'd take so long to reject us. How dare he mess us around like that?!

If he's rejected us after stringing us along for so long, then good riddance. If you 'can't blame him', I certainly can, and I do. 'Wanting a crack at the EPL' and taking months to decide are two different things. He could have easily said 'no' the minute he got back from his holiday around two weeks ago. This is all his agent's doing - stringing us along to alert other clubs to his availability. Ridiculous behaviour.

If he has indeed rejected our offer after all these weeks of stalling, let's not even consider making him another one. His conduct has been entirely unbecoming of Celtic's number one.

If this is all untrue, then let's hope he says yes soon - even so, I'd be wary of him loyalty-wise for the future.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by the news, but if he doesn't want to sign then fair enough. We move on, however I don't want to be * about, there is no way our number 1 keeper should be a loanee, get someone in on a permanent deal. Hopefully either Gordon or boruc. Wish him all the best.

I have no doubt it was his non inclusion in the England squad that has made him not want to sign

 

celtic improved him as a player and if true hes off then i say its a mistake,my gut feeling was that he was waiting on an epl side and its looking like this,thats football lets go to plan b now get gordon and we save 2m and that goes to strenghthen other areas his loss

 

Not amused with this. I can understand his motives but he always made the right noises about staying.
He won't get a better club than Celtic at this stage in his career that is a cert.
