FF has been leaving since he told celtic and they went and found his replacement.....GORDON.
Give FF his due he gave celtic notice and let them know he wanted away this summer.

 

Have you seen any of the games so far this season? Do take your point Sammy was hugely inconsistent we all know that, but on his day he's capable of way more than 3/4 of the duds in our team.

BOOM? Keeping your best players secures group status more than it would by selling your best you have more chance qualifying if he was inbetween the sticks

 

Problem with sammy was every time we was in CL lennon * stuck him up front on his own.
The only place sammy should get into the team was on the left.

We have to move away from this mindset of well maybe he could come good....ie watt and sammy.
If they are not doing it 8 weeks out of 10 then time to sell or release.....we have way to much deadwood and useless at the club.

 

Some people need to come to terms with the fact that quality football players just view us as a step in their career. Best of luck to him.

The difference between FF and gordon will not make a big difference to this team.
The 10 million is more important for replacing some of the outfield duds,more so when we have gordon who is a good keeper to walk right into the team.

The poles put 6 past us...not just one or two,this team is out of its depth and needs rebuilding badly and sadly that takes funds.

Yes i know the board is tight and may not spend that much but they will spend more now than they would have before the 10 million.

in the stokes thread everybody is moaning that we cant sell him as hes the best striker we have at the club, and has the best records, so if its ok to sell forster,who is the best gk with the best records whats the difference in selling stokes if we get good money. seems the fans see the pound signs now aswell as the board.

 

I don't beleive Gordon is a good keeper so stop trying to convince me he is couldn't care less if Gordon makes the decisive save to out us through he will never be good enough to be celtic number 1

I would honestly sell Stokes if it meant getting someone in to replace him that can actually produce the goods in Europe, ie Hooper.

Stokes is a good enough player for the Scottish leagues, but he seems unable to make the step up in Europe when asked.

 

If someone offered £10m for Stokes , I'd bite the hand off of the. In fact, i'd do it for £3m.

 

i dont disagree but people are using the argument we cant sell him or look to get rid as hes the best we have, whats the diff with forster then, or are the fans doing what the fans moan at the board for doing

 

There's more chance of someone offering £10m for me than us getting that kind of money for Tony.
