Big gamble, hope Craigy G is as fit and sharp as they say! If not, a couple of big nights for Zaluska.

Good luck Fraser, a fine keeper, will do very well in England.

    Onwards!

Forster was a luxury player. We should not have had to rely on him as much as we did, he flattered our defense at times and he will be a noticeable loss in the long term, much like when we lost Boruc.

We need a better defense a couple of wingers and a striker, a goalie would also be great now. I think we need to clear out the squad a little and make room in the budget and allow the manager to start building his own squad to give his regime a bit of momentum.

The way Załuska's talking, he'd probably throw the ball into his own * net.

Thanks for the memories, Fraser. :50:

The games against Barcelona, the penalty against Hearts, the penalty against Legia which could be one of the most vital saves in out recent history.

£10m's pretty outstanding IF we see some of it reinvested in the playing staff. Get the * biscuit tim open, Lawwell.

£7.5m actually. Newcastle have a 25% cut (BBC Sport). Not bad though.

    10 mill is great business..

Big man has come.on leaps and bounds at us and is a great shot stopper and that certainly includes penalties but he really was terrible at cross balls and never left his line and his kicking even again the other night can be abysmal although it had improved..

We all knew the big man would want away after the world cup, he's mentioned wanting to play in the epl numerous times and Craig Gordon was always the likely replacment..
I wish him well, if Gordon can stay fit then we have a very capable replacment and 10 mill pocketed for the.much needed outfield positions we crave..

I hope this is going through with a view to getting one or two.good.signings in before maribor..

Optimistic i know but i think it could be this time..

It's only a £5.5 million pound profit with the add on to Newcastle.

EDIT: Maybe more. They get 20% of the profit apparently.

He was a luxury player. He was a stand out player for long stretches of his time here, He is the most reliable goalkeeper I have seen play for us and is an imprtant player for us. He has saved us countless times mate.

And I never said he would be a great loss I said a noticeable loss in the long term, as in it will be difficult to find a keeper as consistently good and reliable as Forster but we should not have to rely on the goalie our defense should be doing much better.

And mate, * were you reading? I'm seriously buddy

I am gutted he's left. I have no confidence in our current backups and finding a new keeper of his level will take us about 5-10 years...if not longer. Depressing.

I know watching Celtic can be a rollercoaster at times but I've never experienced anything like this. In the space of 3 days we've been dumped out of the CL unceremoniously, then reinstated in freak circumstances and now finally sell our best player.

I honestly don't know whether I'm coming or going emotionally at the moment.
