FFS Eggman doesn't even know how to count.

Marshall is 29 and Forster is 26... it's not that hard.

"Has the potential to become a Premier League keeper", he's already better than most of the keepers in that League.

Heard that * Ruddy on sky sports news saying 'I thought playing in the premier league alone should have been enough to get me into the squad.'

Arrogant *, clearly making a dig at Fraser.

    * you Ruddy you piece of *! What a monumental *.

Get that right round the *. What a * he looks now :56:.

Talking there as if he's his coach or something, or a retired pro who's had a great career. He's spent his days kicking about the lower English leagues and at a premier league diddy club, now he's back in the championship. When ruddy puts in motm performances in champions league games and sets national clean sheet records maybe then he can come back and tell Forster what he should and shouldn't be doing.

    John Ruddy :smiley-laughing002:

    * was playing at Motherwell only a few years ago, nothing special whatsoever.

Come back and talk when you've put in three world class performances against a side the calibre of Barcelona, and consistently performed at a high level on the European stage.

That article's two years old, before Euro 2012, when Forster hadn't played in the Champions League yet and was only part of the way toward becoming the colossus he is now.

    * me, not bitter much... Talk about sore loser, perhaps if he was a winner like big lurch and not a complete loser, who for the whole season has been picking the ball out the back of his net, he might have had a case..

Big for your boots *, in your own words, scottish football gave you the chance you've got now.. Enjoy the championship.. Loser!

“Moving to the Premiership is something Forster has to look at. You will always be a step behind if you’re in the SPL trying to break into the England squad,” said the former Motherwell loanee.

Unless you are up against Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy :bbpd:

Well, it HAS been a bad week.

Relegation, and then failing to make the England squad?

    "That's a shame."

Greater than, lesser than? "< >"?

When someone posts "marshall > forster", it means they think that person is greater than the second person.

It has nothing to do with their ages.

Ruddy would say that, although they played roughly the same amount of league games, Ruddy let in 40 goals more. It's all comparable. But look at Hooper, on the verge of an England cap at Celtic, out in the wilderness after a move to the Premiership.

For me it's bullshit. No matter where Forster plays, Hart is gonna be the number 1 goalie for the foreseeable future.

Unless he moves to Man City and takes the number 1 jersey from Hart :86:

It doesn't say a lot for English goalkeepers when hart, Forster, foster and ruddy are vying for the 3 World Cup places

I know some people on here like to think Joe Hart is *. Yes he had a spell where he was pish, but he is easily in the top 10 keepers in the world when on form.d

I don't get it when players take swipes at others for getting 'their' spot in their national team. It's not the player who chooses the squad. It's the manager who deems who is good enough and who isn't.

I don't care when these comments from Ruddy were made. It's disrespectful to another professional.

The arrogance of thinking that playing in the EPL alone is enough to warrant a national place speaks volumes about the man himself.

I'm delighted for Forster and I hope he gets a run out. Only bettered by an on form Hart imo who isn't the same keeper he was 2 or 3 years ago oddly.
