I reckon he will pull off a wonder penalty save in the 29th minute next week, the guy is quality keeper hope he is here for years to come best since Pat Bonner :Forster:

 

Is that him equalled woods record?

If he doesn't let one in for half hour on Saturday is that an all time Scottish record?

 

Don't know about Woods mate but Bobby Clarke holds the Scottish record sitting at 1155 minutes without conceding.

If he keeps a clean sheet after 30 minutes he will equal the record and 31 minutes will obviously break it.

 

Woods only kept 11 League Clean Sheets in a row and Forsters on 12 now so aye. He is now joint with an old Aberdeen keeper on 12, if he keeps a cleansheet for 30 minutes in the next game he will pass that guy on minutes.

 

So basically we get our inspiration from Craig Levein and go 6-4-0 for the 1st 31 minutes then spend the next 60 attacking I like the sounds of it

What we are talking about is the Scottish League record.

The Scottish/British record of minutes in all competitions is held by Charlie Shaw, even though Chris Woods tries to claim it.

Shaw conceded in the 24th minute against Raith Rovers on 13th December 1913 and never conceded again until the 51st minute against Falkirk on 28th February 1914. Between those games he kept 13 clean sheets in a row.

So went 66 minutes, then 13 x 90 = 1170 and then didnt concede for another 51 minutes. A total of 1287 minutes.

Woods claims his is a record with 1196 minutes.

 

Great achievement from the big man, just a shame I think this may be his last season at Celtic.

 

It's amazing really that we have a keeper breaking and still breaking records yet is being questioned on whether he will make the international squad of 3 keepers for Brazil when the number 1 goalkeeper isn't even a stick on regular at his own club and has had a calamitous year/couple of year..

He can't possibly do any more,it will be a disgrace if he wasn't picked to go!

 

The Aberdeen goalkeeper who had the record before him was just on Sky Sports there leaving a video message of congratulations to him, very classy.

 

Well done big man. Fully deserved.

Not good enough.

 

Not been mentioned much either but he only needs 6 clean sheets in the last 12 games to set a new record of the most clean sheets in a League season. He currently hold the record jointly with Rab Douglas, 21 clean sheets - Forster has done it twice already.

 

So Van der Saar's British record and Verlinden's European record, are those just league matches or including non-league matches?
