I agree guys that it's probably a mix between a tactic that is demanded by Lennon, and some sort of comfortable tactic for Forster himself.

FFS - we have two of the best centre halves we've had in many years in terms of guys who can receive a pass and get the ball on the deck and take it forward comfortably - even our full backs are good at it.......so why the * are we TIME AND TIME AGAIN going for this aimless lump up the park - depending on one man to win headers? No true continental team, or (and I hate to use this term) Champions League class team does it.

Absolutely furious that we are using outdated tactics that are hindering us instead of progressing our team. Would be as well just going out and buying 7ft players to lump the ball up to, instead of trying to pass the ball about - which, we certainly could NOT do lst night for long periods in the match.

 

Not too much work for the clean-sheet today.

Hard to believe today's win was only his fourth clean-sheet of the SPFL season ... and two of them have come against Motherwell.

Though, he has had 5 of them in the Champions League, and one in the Scottish Cup, so, still, a pretty decent record.

I hope he feels he can still meaningfully contribute to our club.

A Scottish Cup victory is a must for his chances.

Hopefully another brilliant performance against Barça will help, too.

 

I was thinking tonight after the match, if every game is this easy for him surely he will leave

 

Unfortunately, I have no doubt he'll be gone by the time the Summer transfer window shuts.

 

No Celtic goalkeeper should be losing six goals in any game. I thought Forster was dismal tonight. I won't be sorry if he is sold in January.

 

He couldn't do anything tonight, who do you think he is Yashin on roids fucksake?

 

Posted it before, offer him to southampton for 2 million and artur, bring the holy goalie home

Alright then. Explain to me, if you were a goalkeeper of Forster's quality, how you would have gone about preventing any of those goals tonight. Not all 6, just 1 of them.

It's not that hard to do actually.By good positioning, anticipation, movement and taking command of his goal better, he would have been in a better position to have saved most of them. Forster is not that good a goalkeeper, he has probably let more goals in this season than ever before, and important ones too, if you check the stats I would imagine off the top of my head. But I can take you way back to the League Cup Final against Rangers when his poor movement and agility let those two * from Davis and Jelavic slip by him. That told me a lot about Forster.
