So Forster can't get a game for England, unless he gets a game for England? Hurts my head thinking about that.

Surely no man? Aye, he's put in man of the match performances 3 times against Barcelona but as soon as we see a good game against Crystal Palace he's in....

Ok, found a video of it.

What he said was ''We have Forster, who we like, especially what we have seen of him in the Celtic games and in training. But this is a time for experience, this is a time for people who really know what it is like to play for England in important games.''

    He is bricking it.

Hope a Hart mistake puts them out and he gets the boot.

I wouldn't mind selling Forster in January and get new number 1 in and settled for champion league qualifiers next summer. I think everyone on here knows Forster be off in summer to full fill his English ambitions, just like Hooper did.
I wish big lad well if he did but I think Celtic need act smart here and learn from Hooper experience. It nearly costed us champion league this year. Selling our main striker and no replacement signed or settled in.
We kindly mess bout with goalkeeper spot. We need get keeper in come January and give them 6 months to settle in at Parkhead. I love see Shay Given come home to finished his career at Celtic. he still got good 3 years left in him.

If Forster leaves we will have a big problem. Remember what it was like trying to get a keeper before we got Forster. That was a * time.

Roy Hodgson failed to send ANYONE to watch England hope Fraser Forster's Champions League heroics

Roy Hodgson did not send anybody to watch Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster’s heroic Champions League performance against Barcelona.

Hodgson has promised to stick with under-fire Joe Hart for England’s vital World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on Friday night.

Nobody made a personal check on Forster against Barca last week and there were no England staff in Scotland to watch Celtic’s clash with Motherwell yesterday.

Although Celtic narrowly lost, Forster produced a superb performance against Barca, with wonderful saves from Neymar and Alexis Sanchez.

Forster’s display was watched on television by absent England staff and the 25-year-old was selected in the squad for the Montenegro and Poland qualifiers.

Hodgson insists he knows the talents of Forster and suggested the Celtic star could be given a chance once the latest qualifiers are over.

But Forster may well feel like the odd man out, as Hodgson personally watched Hart struggle against Bayern Munich and John Ruddy is under the constant eye of England goalkeeper coach Dave Watson, who also works for Norwich.

Having failed to give Forster or Ruddy a proper chance in England’s friendlies, Hodgson has little choice but to stick with Hart.

There are questions over whether Hodgson is prepared for the worst, should Hart suffer an injury or produce a below-par display against Montenegro.

England’s scouting network is set to be reviewed after the FA last week appointed Mike Rigg as head of talent identification.

    Don't worry, mate.

England has this thing where you have really * good players like Fraser but instead you shun them for average players at struggling teams in the Premier League.

Now back to waiting for England to win the World Cup...

I saw Hodgson on MOTD this morning he was obviously talking about International experience not EPL experience but who's fault is it he has no experience Roy ?

I personally don't care whether he plays for England or not but over the last 18 months he should have definitley played in some of the Brit friendlies I just don't get what they would have had to lose. If they had played him in a couple of friendlies they would either know that they don't believe he can play at that level or know that he now has some experience and can be called on if needed.

I don't watch that much of Joe Hart and perhaps his mistakes are been exaggarated but if he is making mistakes I come back to what did they have to lose by playing Forster in some of the friendlies ?

    I'm not picky.
Aye, he said it on Match Of The Day yesterday. Never said that Forster doesn't have any experience in the EPL - just said he doesn't have the experience, period.

Even if he was on about not having experience playing for England, then how's Forster supposed to get this experience if he's never picked? Did Joe Hart miraculously get this experience in playing for England before he ever had a game for them?

The guy was spouting a lot of illogical gumpf.

Strange comments from Hodgson for me..

So basically your number 1 keeper can be in the worst form of his career and still be picked no matter what

Says a lot about the manager as for what it'll do for how hart? Nothing as he knows he's always first choice even though he's got a calamity a game in him at the minute and been bad for a year..

The experience thing in life is a load of * to me outside football aswell how do you gain the experience if nobody is willing to give you the change
    To experience it!

Forster playing against nobody's aswell wouldn't help him get it either he could go a full match not doing a thing!

English have to grow a set of balls and stop over looking strikers because current ones under perform and there keeper is having third problem just now they don't have the balls to drop these players!

It's actually an insult to him that who's Infront of him just because they play in the EPL!!!

It would be interesting if Man City gave us £10million for Forster in January and installed him as their number one keeper.

I'd like to see Roy spin that one.

The subtext to Roy of the Rovers' bullshit is that Forster needs to be playing in the EPL.

    Because it's G-R-E-A-T.
