    Most England fans agree that Hart is overrated. They also agree that Forster deserves a chance - and should have been given a chance as far back as the Barca game last year.

    Personally, I don't think so.

    Barca 'keepers are very nearly a sweeper. Big Fraz isn't near good enough with his feet to interest Barca.

    That's why england, won't ever win a tournament.
    It's harder to get out of the england team than it is to get in to it. It's picked on reputation rather than form.

    The fact they don't build a strong under 21's, but start playing any young promising player in the first team after a handful of club games in the EPL.

    Their coach is a 2nd tier coach, with experience but little domestic trophies.

    The same old players have been allowed to consistently fail and stagnate and capitulate in the last few tournaments. Rooney was taken to south Africa unfit and not in form, a bold and talented coach would hAve a second or third option ready to step in.

    can you imagine the backlash he will get if they don't qualify because he made a mistake, his England career would be over. just like carson.

    let hart * it up for them first then forster can step in :p

    That article reeks of typical English media arrogance. "Trendy pretender" and "uncapped upstart"?! Wonder if the idiot who wrote that would still be of the same opinion if Forster was plying his trade for an English club and playing just as well :rolleyes:

    Even Woy has said that Hart has never let him down. Sooooo Hart can continue to play * for Man City but he'll still automatically get called up to the number 1 slot? :97: Makes absolutely no sense.

    Wonder how Forster feels when (or if) he reads pish like this.

    happened with benfica. We played themlast season n they were interested in him I think.

    Did they actually make a bid for Forster or was it just rumors?
