Fantastic performance, few dodgy kick outs although he was clearly aiming for sammy who was hugging the touchline.

The big man was outstanding tonight.

He really does step up to the occasion on nights like these.

    England calling...

Can't argue with any of that, he's not the complete keeper by any means yet but wonderful saves tonight. I agree with the point made about Hart being in the team as he's high profile, the fact is, none of the other keepers in the english league are much better so Hart keeps getting picked.

    World class goalkeeper.

That's two heroic home performances in a row against the quality of Barcelona. He could do nothing at their goal, we were short on numbers having just missed from a corner. The saves he pulled off towards the end of the game were phenomenal.

Bottom line is that he should be first choice for England. Compare his performances against that of Hart over the last 18 months. They really do shoot themselves in the foot at times.

Once he becomes more dominate of his 6 yard box and confidant of collecting crosses etc he will be an outstanding keeper.

    .

It was still an outstanding piece of goalkeeping.

I sit a bit up from behind the goals in the LL lower and I just looked down and thought that's going in. But no. What a shot stopper this guy is. He's not been pulling up trees recently but once again he has rose to the occasion.
