    I'm pleased for the big guy. Joe Hart is an awful 'keeper and he's been responsible some absolute howlers recently. If Hodgson does the right thing and gives Forster his chance, we can add a few million on to his market value and maybe keep him at the club longer.

    I'm surprised that Forster is back in the squad but good luck to him. I agree that Hart seems guaranteed his place, it's the same at Man City and he's honestly not all that great. Neither is FF though.

    The whole England set up is a * joke, anyway. I can't think of any other nation that exclusively selects players from their domestic league. Even Tahiti had Vahirua. :smiley-laughing002: Players are selected solely by hype, reputation and club.

    I think he's the 4th choice England goalkeeper currently.

    Listened to the Hodgson press conference there and he said it's disappointing that their "2nd choice" keeper (Ben Foster) is out for so long, and I'd hazard a guess that after him it'd be Ruddy.

    He'll do well to ever get on the pitch for England I think.

    When he burst on the scene I thought * they've got a world class keeper here,but he's gone back the way and turned into abit of a calamity..

    Only seaman got away with so many blunders and kept his place,well he was the last I can remember anyway..

    Bodes well for us that love to watch them fall flat on their face I suppose :50:
