    I think he had a few good performances in the CL, and some decent performances in the domestic campaign.

    For me, and it's my personal opinion, over his entire time here his dodgy performances have outweighed his good performances.

    I just don't think he is anywhere near the keeper that some make him out to be. I'd much rather have seen him leaving before Hooper and Wanyama.

    I'm surprised at that Paul.

    I don't remember too many games were he has done something wrong in the last 18 months/two years.

    Well that I can agree with, i would have liked to have seen a lot of players leave before those two.

    I honestly think one or two of his CL performances have attracted vastly exaggerated opinion of him, similar to the opinion some had of James Forrest last season when Neil Lennon was drooling over him in every interview he gave. I don't rate either player anywhere near as much as some do.

    For me, over the course of his time at Celtic, I've been far more unimpressed with Forster than I have been impressed.

    It looks like a minority view, on here at least, but it's my opinion of the player. I just don't rate him as highly as others.

    The big man is steadily progressing year in/year out at Celtic - that, I don't think , can be questioned.

    He is still imo too uncommanding at times with the likes cross balls etc - should be taking about 90% of them at all times.

    I agree about Forrest. I think he has all the ability but he rarely turns up, thankfully tonight was one of those rare occasions. If he doesn't drastically improve this year he should be gone next season.

    He started punching them last season and was getting a lot success with it.

    You are right though, for a guy his size he should be able to catch a lot more cross balls.

    Never stopped Packie playing over 600 games for us though. :smiley-laughing002:
