I wonder if there are any of our players that don't want to play down south and who are happy just to be at a huge club like Celtic.......

Brown has also turned down the Prem as did Ledley.

 

Probably none.

Even the likes of Mulgrew and McGeouch who are mad tims would probably leave if teams like Everton came in for them. A chance to double/treble your wage and play week in week out in good stadiums in front of bigger crowds against better players and make a bigger name for yourself. Would be hard to turn down.

 

Only the Celtic supporting players I would imagine.

I'm sure the majority of them are happy enough to be at Celtic but if the opportunity came up to play in the EPL, then you could count on one hand the players that would reject that.

Frustrating really but that's the position we are in due to playing in Scotland.

 

The last thing I want to see is Forster leaving, even if he does leave he could do a lot better than Newcastle that's for sure.

 

Sick and tired of players coming out with statements like this! The "using Celtic as a stepping stone" is the one that really * me off. They should thank their lucky stars they have been blessed with pulling on the Hoops. Talking about playing with other clubs when they are under contract with us, it's disgusting. If they aren't happy here, and would prefer to play in England, then they can * off down there as far as i'm concerned. One of greatest ever players, Henrik Larsson would never dream of coming away with any nonsense like this, and he was miles ahead of any of our current team! The players would do well to remember that they are playing with one of the biggest club's in the world!

 

* me off no end,came from absolutely nowhere sitting in the reserves at Newcastle,down on loan in the championship at Norwich and we gave him a chance and Stevie woods worked wonders for his development here in the last 3 seasons definitely improved....
He's had some great displays no doubt but he's no finished article and is Deffo suspect at times,to think he's already touting his * to go back to Newcastle already cause he's had some recognition and made the England squad definitely annoys me!

Get a grip. There's nothing wrong with what Forster has said. Lets not forget he is a Newcastle fan. He's probably been asked if he would like to play for them and he's specifically said he's happy here but would like to play for Newcastle at some point.

If one of you were playing for Newcastle and an English reporter asked you if you'd like to play for Celtic one day, what would you say?

Is it just me or has big fraz been letting in goals he clearly shouldn't be, ie the goal just let in from ojama, there's been a few like that lately. He isn't playing with the same intensity as he previously was.

Don't get me wrong I love the big guy, I just don't want him to think he doesn't have anything to prove anymore it just takes that X factor from his game. Don't go down the boric route big man.

 

He could have maybe done a bit better for the first goal but apart from that, he saved it being 5/6-1 to them.

 

Forster saved the game from turning into an embarrassment, the own goal was nothing bad bad luck.

I saw him out in Newcastle one night, he had a Union flag tattooed on his arm and was singing the Billy Boys. I’ve hated him ever since. <o></o>
