I wonder - are goalkeepers judged on like a "golden boot" style points system? i.e. 1 point per save etc?

And would it be different points per league i.e. 1 point per save in England etc.

1/2 point per save in Scotland?

    Something like that?

This is one time where I will completely say that YOU and KEMOSABE were absolutely correct in your fawning over Forster since his initial arrival at Celtic.

    I was wrong - but * it.

I thought his potential and the way he was improving constantly was a very good sign, he has natural positioning for a keeper, knows where to be. His reflexes are good as well, now he's just stepped it up a good few levels.

He's on par with Big Artur just now for me, he's got it in him to surpass him at his best, hope he does it with us. He's been everything you meed in a keeper this year, head and shoulders above Joe Hart. Should be Englands number 1.

I'll be honest - I feel more comfortable with him in goals than I ever did with Boruc.

That is some feat btw - as Boruc was the best goalkeeper I've seen in a Celtic jersey.

Same mate, I've always said Forster is a safe keeper and Boruc was a spectacular one.

I'm now starting to think that Fraser's both.

When the bold Artur left Celtic I wondered if we'd ever see his likes again.

    Step up Fraser Forster.........

An outstanding replacement for one of our greatest, and that's no mean feat.

He might not have the character of Artur, but on the other hand he doesn't have the tendency (so far anyway) to make the mistakes which Artur would fall foul to.

This guy is world class, he's England's future #1, and he's gonna have a a list of teams the size of your arm chasing him.

We'll do well to keep him.

He is definitely on a great run of form. Stevie Woods deserves a good deal of the credit me thinks.

If he continues this kind of form, and maintains his level of development? Why not :50:

Although, I personally think we will be very lucky to see about another two years service from Forster the way things are going. I can easily see him being lured back to England - but if any transfers suit both parties, then happy days and good luck.

    £20m and he's yours :50:

Also loved how Woods saved every shot and the penalty with him, proper show of solidarity between the 2 of them.
