If he doesn't win the Ballon D'or there will be uproar across Europe.

    Especially in Denmark.

Massive credit must go to Stevie Woods here as well btw, i'd never heard of the man before last year i'll be honest but he's clearly a * magician like Lenny and John Park.

Lawwell: give Woodsy 50 grand a week on a 10 year contract - NOW!

Used to be a decent goalkeeper for Motherwell.

His save from Messi when Leo was around 10 yards out inside the box in the second half was possibly the greatest save I've ever seen...... 999 out 1000 goalkeepers on any other day would not have come close to making that save.... against the best player on the planet as well.

Has been top class in both games against Barca, keeping Messi out for 180 odd minutes before he finally got a tap in after Forster made another great save.

Probably out man of the match for both games against Barca....

    ABSOLUTE HERO!

Not even the fact Messi was the one to make the shot but if that were any other player who played a shot like that it is goal bound and like you said 999 out a 1000 times thats bursting the net it was a type of shot were to keeper should not have a chance in the slightest at all but Forster despite being so big is a exception to the rule clearly.

3 saves over the two games have stuck out to me as being truly world class, all from Messi.

The one in the Nou Camp, played across the face of goal and from around 10 yards out Messi looked odds on to score he hit it back across Forster and he somehow kept it out.

The one in the first half in Paradise when the ball was wrapped into Messi's feet, his first touch set him up for the half volley and he leathered it. First glance it looked like it just hit the bar but in the slow motion replay it showed that the big man miraculously got a fingertip to it. An absolute wonder save.

Lastly in the second half Messi played a one-two with Alba and drilled it across Forster and he managed to leap across and get a solid glove to it. Brilliant save.

There was countless other saves, blocks, well read situations and catches but those three stick out and they were against the best player on the planet.

Fraser Forster 'La Gran Muralla' I salute you.

Joe Hart's just * up... again. For Spurs to score.

I genuinely feel that Fraser Forster is a safer keeper than him.

My first thoughts when I saw that blunder was Fraser Forster and not the usual "get it up ye ya *":bbpd:

Hope he starts v Sweden. Don't see why he didn't start v San Marino, everyone knew England would win.

    Just seen Hart's howler.

He is looking a liability too often this season.

    Forster deserves his chance anyways.

To be fair Joe Hart has been outstanding this season, think he can be allowed the odd mistake.

Joe Hart has been far from outstanding this season.

In fact he has made an absolute shitload of mistakes, however, they aren't highlighted by a partisan media. When he puts in a performance as he did against Madrid the 'best in the world' headlines are rolled out again.
